sorry to break it to you but Jennifer Beals didn't do the dancing in the movie; it was a french dancer/body double...but you're right about one thing...jlo looks like a joke compared to the original but nice tribute all the same.
so what...the dancer that performed the dance blew it out of the water. Jennifer is an average dancer at best. You can't even compare one with the other it's a joke.
Look I've been following Jlo for years. I think she's a hell of a hard worker and I think that it's awesome that she paid homage to one of the greatest dance movies of the decade and maybe even of all time but her skills are average in my opinion. She's more of a hollywood star than an artist in my humble opinion. I think considering her abilities she did quite well but there is just no comparision between the level of the original and her.
look all I'm saying is that jennifer lopez is a ghreat dancer and has come a long way so don't call her average because she can dance!!
I am not saying that this is her best video (by my opinion the top are que hisiste if you have my love get right do it well feeling so good and I'm gonna be alright) and you may like the orriginal better (i like it too) but don't underrestimate her as an dancer singer actress...

all I say is that jennifer lopez is a great dancer and a great singer the both dances are very different and I wouldn't call neither of them a joke
