  • Sorry for all of these questions, but what got you intrested to start Tameran Wicca over Hellinic (Greek), and basic Paganism? I am just wondering!

    Thanks,

    Austin

  • @PsychicMediumAustin Well I started with just general eclecticism, but with the Greek deities. But i felt confusion and like I wasn't quite where I was meant to be. I then came to the realisation that my deep love of Egypt meant something more in my heart than just historical interest and so I went to Tameran Wicca, although I do not work with the Egyptian pantheon only. x

  • Whats the difference between kemetic and tameran wicca? or is there a difference?

    Thanks! )O( BB

  • @ballerinaboy1 Both centralise on ancient Egyptian practices, but tameran wicca incorporates wiccan beliefs, and kemeticism doesn't (it only looks at Egyptian practices and beliefs). x

  • @Pagyptsian Thanks for explaining :)

  • Thnx for posting your recommendation's...Love listening to your voice & great topics to watch & think about...I love to learn and think out-side-of-the-box...

    have a Magickal Week!!!

  • You should get Tamaras other book Nebt-het/Nephthys amazing book i absolutely adore it and not alot is around about Nephthys so yeah give that a try

  • @cybergoth34 Oo I didn't know she had one! x

  • I have the first two books! I loved Egyptian Paganism, it was the last Pagan/Wiccan book I ever really read, apart from the new Stonewylde book... *drool*. :P

  • @HekateskyaPyra Egyptian Paganism is brilliant :D

  • books are good and all, but to a teen Pagan, internet is a best friend :P

  • @RedDragon033195 I definately agree ^^

  • which book do you recommend as the most comprehensive for an overview of the god and goddess mythologies? Right now I am looking for something less practical than informational, just to build up a solid foundation.

  • Circle of Isis by Ellen Cannon Reed

I adore this book. My copy is so dog eared from the amount of times I have read it and it's covered in my own notes. Reed focused on the worship of Wasir and Aset so the book should be of interest to you. It also has songs (with music), prayers, recipes and divination tools.

  • @weesie3 Yes I should have remembered this one!! I loved this! x

  • the lighting in your room is fantastic! Love it. Leo~

  • Thanks so much for the book recommendations. I am getting increasingly more interested in the Egyptian tradition so this has been brilliantly informative as I always find buying books of this nature online a bit of 'pot luck'. Love your channel. Blessed be x

  • @steppingthestones Great to hear! Thank you :) x

  • I would recommend path-working books, but I'm not drunk or stupid. The best thing to do with regards to Egyptian Spirituality is to research the deities in question and piece together your own form of worship, rather than going along with the writings of a few scholars who are essentially piling filth on top of filth.

Research the historical facts about the deities, and go from there. That's your best bet.

  • Hello, I am currently reading Isis Magic by M. Isidora Forrest...this is a book I have always wanted but could never afford...I was lucky enough to come across a nice copy at a flea market for little money. If you can find it it's an amazing book...I absolutely would recommend to anyone. Love and Light, ~Alura~

  • @Aluraalure Thank you :) I've put it in the info box :) x

  • I LOVE your shirt!! It's beautiful. :)

  • @BRADpaisley21 Thank you!!

  • here are some books i've found useful....Sacred Science by R.A.Schwaller de lubicz....Opening of the Way.......Isha De Lubicz......Ancient Egypt light of the World....Gerald Massey ... ..The Mind of Egypt.......Jan Assman............Sacred magic of Ancient Egypt......and Sacred Tradition in Ancient Egypt.......Rosemary Clark..... Temple of the Cosmos........Jeremy Naydler..........and The 12 Gates.......John Rush

  • Very interesting video there! Loves studying about ancient egypt when i was in primary and secondary school! I may look some of those up when i get the chance!!

  • Very nice...thank you

  • Could you talk about race in kemeticism? I've noticed that in kemetic spiritual groups, it appears to be exclusively black.

  • @RedDragon033195 I've been meaning to bring it up, but I don't want to get people angry. KemeticIndependent did a video on it if you're interested. But in a nutshell, the Ancient Egyptians were not black. They had black people in their country and there were black Egyptians, but as a whole cultures race, black was not the dominant one.

  • oh so thats where you got that from...........ok ok. wouldn't you like a student : )

  • @mysticalcarter What do you mean? :) x

  • @Pagyptsian i was teasin about being your student. not to say that i wouldn't be : )
