It's hard to train my brindle boxer I try to use quick chewable treats and she just eats it slow or carry it to her kennel and nibble on it leave then nibble on it in 3 minutes

My Boxer x Mastiff is 12 months,

i have her sitting, laying down, easy,

but its playing fetch and not sleeping thats what i have a problem with,

i just got a 16 month old boxer dog, he has basic obedience but needs more practice. Is 16 months too late to teach him like this?

No. I recently (about a month ago) got a 17 month old boxer who had never been worked with. He was loved but never trained just spoiled. Anyway I have him doing all the basic commands and has become a really good dog. His previous owner visted me a couple of days ago and can't beleive he is the same dog.
