Good to someone is having fun in a new Ranger because we in the North American market will get any new Rangers after 2011. It would be nice if everybody who loves the Ranger and off-roading would complain to Ford for not bringing the new Ranger to North America. I'm sure going to miss them.

@omg122448 1500/f150 arent ideal for hauling towing..... f250/2500 up are more ford towing hauling because of the suspension and bigger engines although i prefer f150s over f350s cause for what i do witch is a little wood and brush and bricks its alright but when we haul hay or the trailer full of round bails we brake out the old 350 powerstroke

I dunno if it's a Canadian model or American, but the FX4 trim was discontinued for 2010 in the US. Plus we have a new silver grill like the F-Series. It does have the newer style badges and centered Ford logo on the tailgate though, so it's probably a 2006-2009 model.

@slurpy911 hydrolocking is when the engine takes on water, it sucks water into the cylinders and not air, and as water cannot compress, the engine can no longer turn. if your lucky, you can pull the plugs crank it over, blow all the water out and it will be fine. if your not so lucky, you can easily crack pistons, blow out heads, throw connecting rods, or bend your crankshaft. either way, bad idea

The host of the show said Ford and Mazda build the trucks on the same assembly line with minor differences. The trucks are a joint effort between Ford and Mazda.
