Pichu's big thing was so strong it'd hurt itself. i tested it and Pichu does do more damage so Pichu COULD be better than Pikachu, IF every time you used and electric attack you landed your hit, no throwing them out randomly, you'd have to think strategically.

No one wanted to think with strategy though, and so bye bye Pichu.

@Arc13 I wouldn't have minded thinking with strategy, because I know how to avoid getting Pichu hurt by most of its electric attacks. All I can say is, if Nintendo is making another Smash Bros. game, they better put in the Melee characters that were cut out of SSBB.

Because Pichu had a slightly flawed character design, and got old in Japan,

Pichu 's description said that its fighting style was to use items, thats not a good strategy in most places D:

if look at pichu's size and speed though, dodge and do many quick attacks. The only problem is knowing how to dodge every move, but it can be done.
