  • Whoever this chick is, I think she's funny as hell!

  • that place is the best place on earth i wish i could go one day

  • blind naive dickheads but they just dont get it.

This is the biggest brick building in Europe and 1 of the earliest power stations made and of the biggest of all time.

Its original and powered London nearly 100 years ago.

Things have moved on and it wasn't that officiant. Today this would be made from concrete just like all the other buildings and carparks of today.

Us great Britain's should keep it restore it and respect it and leave on the original chimmneys or lose it originality.

  • Actually the building was made of steel, the brick is a facade. Yes i agree, a very impressive project. Cool building.

  • wasnt this building on a pink floyd album cover?

  • yes it was on the album animals one of my faves lol

  • This is a great building. I 've been three three times.

I wonder if they use this money to sew the bunch of bricks together one day... would be nice.

    Greets,

Gilbert (no not the architect) ;)

    Netherlands

  • @eurotechmanagement hope it falls on you and you die horribly ha ha ha haaaaa

  • It's one hell of an icon. The people who made this piss take are a bunch of idiots. Take your head out your arse for once and open your eyes.

  • id pay more than that its one of the most iconic building the world has ever known

  • i to visited the power station on a FREE guided tour 25 plus years ago before all the inards had been ripped out. heard about tour on capital radio yet only about 20 people turned up. amazing building.

  • £5? I think thats a bargain!

  • That's Bod Geldof in the background at the start I swear!!! He lives right round the corner! I used to live up the street in Batt. Park!! Does anyone else see him!?

  • the white haired bloke in the expensive-looking coat at 37 seconds?

    hmm..maybe

  • id like to visit the place but £5 it puts you off a bit

  • I visited the power station on an 'Open Day' about 25 plus years ago. The place was truly fascinating. It's criminal that it was allowed to fall to pieces with so much beautiful work lost forever. Shame the maker of this video didn't have enough imagination to enter the spirit of the place.

  • what a interesting vid , i love this building , and have strong family ties , both my father and grandfather worked there , i did has saturday work , so has my unlce , it is awsome place a real spine chilling building
