technically, there's no hammer attached to the frame... the shape, size and width of each angklung contributes towards the different sounds made...yes it is made of bamboo, you just have to shake the lower part of its frame...although there are many ways of playing it...

Made from bamboo. There is a hammer attached by a frame, and when you shake the hammer hits the bamboo tube.
