they're telling you this is the largest restraunt in the world with over 6000 seats and a f*king waterfall!! and yet there's a bunch of losers crying about alcohol! llolll if u live in "moderation" then im sure u can do without alcohol for one evening? - and btw ive been to this restraunt its amazing
I agree with you mad8london247, what i meant was that i understood they don't serve alcohol because of their religious beliefs. If that's the case, it doesn't matter whether moderation is good or not, because it's not a choice for them. If i misunderstood, fuhgedaboudit. But you're right, moderation (and self control) is better.
a very good tourism initiative; the place is very relaxing and the food very delicious together with a perfect service. Well done i'm really looking forward to visit it this coming summer.
@calpolyis its expensive and far from damascus city id rather go to bab tuma where its much CHEAPER with BETTER service , tastier SHISHAS and ALCOHOL !
Talk about putting all your eggs in one basket.

Time will tell.. But still an amazing feat to run a restaurant that big

No alcohol?
I'm not much of a drinker, but alcohol can also be good for you. moderation is better.
Disappointing.

I don't think moderation is an option when enterpreting a law or a religious belief.
kirlinks 2 years ago
@Kirlinks:
Prohibition never works. People always find away to break a law that controls the population too much.
Moderation is not a religious belief, it is a healthy lifestyle choice.

We as Muslims don't drink alcohol. It is based on our religion. (sorry)

@anassoccer10
You could have fooled me with the number of drunk Arabs embarassing themselves, in London.
Moderation is the best path, rather than abstention and then gorging.
mad8london247 2 years ago
These Muslims who drink, are not called Muslims anymore. If u are a Muslim than u shouldn't be drinking. Its that easy.

Strange, I was there too last summer, and food and service were awesome. Little expensive, but it was worth it.

if you want the real good food go to Bab tuma, that was my fave in personal experience
aafaking 3 years ago
tuma. Over all, never go on the weekend, too crowded, and food and service tend to be a little bad.
