Not our fault, but with today's house shots, gymnastic pins and especially the balls you and I will never know what it's like to achieve a legitimate 900 three game series. However, Glenn Allison would. He did it on wood lanes (not mom's kitchen floor) with a plastic ball (pancake weight, no high-density core) with a conventional grip. The USBC required the pair of lanes to be shut-down, all the pins boxed-up and the ball used kept at the center until all were deemed within legal spec. Not now.

thanks to everyone who has viewed this and will view this, it was an amazing accomplishment....the lane conditions were squirrely since there was 8 right handers and 2 left handers and bowlign on lanes 1 and 2 just a house shot

I want to know what the lane conditions were like. Not to take anything away from what he did. Pretty amazing regardless. But it must have been a pretty easy shot.

I saw a guy tonight in league bowl 300, 279(robbed on a ten pin) then 300. It was incredible.

I went to East with him also. He's freaken awesome. I just recently shot 300 300 223 but i didn't bowl that with a storm bowling ball it was a Track Revmaster. When i shot that it was this past sunday. Good Job Andy.

My name is John Henry and i bowl out of Mchenry Illinois....I bowled with the ball Hammer Hot Sauce Pearl when i shot my 289,279,289 for an 857... Im only 19 and tied the Raymonds Johnsburg Bowl house record until an 864 beat it. I have no 300's to my name.. but alot of 299's and 298...I only shoot with Hammer and Storm Bowling balls...I average 210 at Johnsburg and 215 at WoodStock Edgetown bowl. Good Job for the 900 i was close ;)

man i get nervous when i shot 8 in a row. I wish i could practice more because i've been bowling since i was little and i just started looking at the arrows when i was 17. I'm 18... lol but wow that great, i'm not going to say i can't wait until i bowl a 300 because i want to feel like i actually bowling a 300 rather than bowling a 200.

Great Job a 900 Series! My best is 880 with a Ten Pin in the second frame of the First Game 280-300-300 and than a 279 i played this in Germany!

thats insane! to bowl a 300 alone is great, but to bowl back to back to back 300's is just out of this world!
