9mm is for punk bitch and wanna be gang bangers!!!! i own a .40 s&w and a 12 gauge short barrell pistol grip mossberg maverick 88.....500 MAGNUM IS THE BEST GUN EVER!!!
@drewtyler93 do me a favor.. have some one shoot you with a .380 7 times in the chest and then see if you're just "pissed off"... also I'd like to see you shoot a gun this size in .45 or better yet 10mm or why not just put a 12 gauge in your back pocket?? these guns are about having decent firepower combined with adequate stopping power that you can fit in your pocket.. they are a compromise to fill a certain roll..so next time, think before you speak..or better yet just don't speak at all..
@metaZen Indeed; particularly with modern hollow-points, a good three round grouping of .380 is nothing to sneeze at but seven? You continously can read stories of how multiple nines to forty-fives didn't get the job done but well placed .25s & .380s did. I rather have a good combination of penetration & energy transfer in a cartridge that I can shoot accurately yet that fits in a gun that I can comfortably be pocket carried & the .380 fits the bill but shot placement will win the day everytime
@IIMoses740II I only mentioned 7 rounds as that is the capacity of most of these little .380's... don't get me wrong I'm definitely a subscriber to the bigger is better line of thought.. that said though the gun you carry is better than the one you leave at home... I do get irked when people poo poo certain calibers as they all have their place..
@metaZen I'm a little confused on the "7 rounds" remark because I was both in acknowledgement that most pocket .380s these days can hold six in the magazine and one in chamber but also simply in a positive light as in that if a good grouping of .380(which I used three for the example) is "nothing to sneeze at" then seven would obviously be even more of an improvement.
@drewtyler93 fuck you a .380 is a pocket pistol i do not recommend a .380 for home defense or concealed carry. however a .380 is a good backup choice.
@cwjolly69 Just my two cents, but if you're looking for a .380 "Glock", the Diamondback may strike your fancy; it disassembles & is a polymer design similar to the Glock.
Not to lead you away from a Kahr; just wanted to give a little extra insight
yes & no, I own 2 glocks & a kahr 380. the field strip is different and so are some minor other things. In my opinion the kahr 380 is the best in the market. I'e owned the LCP & the Diamondback 380, just my 2 cents.
I wish I never bought my P380. With close to 1000 rounds through it I still failures to feed and to go into battery about 8-10 out of every 50 rounds... It's at the factory for the second time right now and as soon as i get it back I'm getting rid of it.
@GunWebsites Looks like it's an ammo issue after all, it just doesn't like many different loads. If anyone has a problem with their P380 I'd highly recommend trying Corbon PowrBall, that load seems to have fixed the issue for me. Guess I'm keeping it now!
i´m sorry to tell you that, but if someone calls his own "gunwebsites" and produces this kind of videoquality, than better getting some skills in "how to make a good video"!
This video reminds me of how magic the internet is. I was looking for exactly this quick hands on comparison, the way you were stacking them and putting them next to each other was perfect. Thanks much.
I found plenty of ammo at my local store but all have raised in price, 18.99 for .380 :*( . Price is low at Wal-mart but it's hard to get any ($8.47 for a box of Blazer 9mm goes fast ).
yup. the thing i like about it the most is the size and the slide holds open on the last shot compared to all the other "pocket pistols" out there on the market. How much did you pay for the Kahr?
@keithl666
all good then, thanks for the rational reply

With the silly ammo shortage, .380 at our Wal-Mart is selling for $35.97 here in Ohio. That is if it is even in stock.
