I also grew up with these. I sing this to my daughters every night. I wish I could find the albums for them. I hope they also will hold this song in their heart as they grow up. There is nothing I want more for them.
I'm looking for an unvamped digital version (without videos) of this song for a friend's memorial slide show THIS weekend. Anyone have an mp3 or similar file to share. I would be EXTREMELY grateful! She absolutely loved this song, all 37 years of her life... Can anyone help me? Love this version... OR if you have any other suggestions for another good version? please send me a response to jkporter228@gmail.com. Thanks!
this is the only ORIGINAL version of this song i could find to play online ANYWHERE!!!!!! WWWOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!! What about The Music Machine album?!!! I was RAISED on these!! what a trip. Gotta get this in digital somehow!! I, too, have the orig. 45, but have no way of converting it =(

@CadillacL Nope. Fortunately I was able to find the album for pennies in a thrift store and in near flawless condition. I had to purchase a turntable. The young salesman at Circuit City didn't even know what a phonograph or record player is. Then I had to use two software programs to convert it to digital. I got to speak briefly with the legend of our time, Bill Gaither, and when I mentioned this music, he remarked that I was going way back.
@mrdandrea do u have the whole thing posted on here? :) Ah yes, i've been asked once, what a record player was. ...I had a bunch of 45 & 33's once, (few yeats back) a kid ask me 'what's this? I said "giant cd's LOL:)
wow, I remember listening to this record as a kid, we had another Gaither kids one too.
