i hated and loved these sad stories at the same time, but why does all reincarnation characters from most anime has to look different from their previous form? kikyo and kanna both looks more beautiful than their reincarnations. well, for avatar, i honestly perfer the old man instead of aign if i remember the name correctly. anyway, i think that it won't matters much if their reincarnation acts like in their past lives; of course, this only applies to good ppl only. we don't need bad ppl.

This has to be one of the most beautifully melancholic shows ever, surely? Although Yukito waking up shouting "r-ramen seto!" always amused the hell out of me. Great bit of music this.

I recently watched AIR (that is after watching Kanon remake and Clannad&after story) and well, I regret watching it. Sad ending is still lingering in my mind and I can't get rid of it... I thought those feathers would do something like those orbs of light....

I liked AIR more than CLANNAD and Kanon. The settings were so aesthetically pleasing, the music was beautiful, and so were the characters (and Yukito makes a great protagonist). I'm not saying I don't like the other shows, they were amazing too, just that Air is my favorite.

@Carrotqween same clannad was good and so was Kanon but air had such great memories to cherish so sweet Yukito was the best guy in the whole three animes of key animation probably better than the new one angel beats

I just finished watching Air for the first time..and it made me feel sad, yet it's nostalgic.. lol but it was a pretty good show and i enjoyed even though it was sad.

i watched AIR TV for the 3rd time and i still cried. It is such a wonderful anime and this song makes me cry cause when i listen to it it makes me remember how important some people are to me. I think Air makes you think how important it is to care for your friends and always stand by their side.

Its sad indeed but he did it for her what makes it a sadder but greater gift. This is probally one of the saddest and the most beautiful anime that makes most people cry and remember the importend things.

@Sunliteday well that Ending in the beach with her mama and yukito, is from the AIR TV MOVIE, and the other is from the Serie with 13 episode, the movie is concentrate the relationship about misuzu and yukito and the serie about the curse of Kanna, Kano's Mother, Minagi Tohno's Sister (Michuru), Misuzu and them yukito is the little crow

and Clannad and Clannad Afterstory. I Personally think Air should be continued cause Misuzu was 1 of my favorite anime characters.

Air's story was deeper then Kanon's was. It had more meaning, more for you to think about even after the series ended. But Kanon was still a really good series too :p
