When I first saw this I was like "Okay. So there's three Death Eaters, a Pirate and a Vampire in one film. Is that a good thing or a bad thing?"

I know a quite few people were so-so with Helena Bonham Carter in this film but I think she pulled off Mrs. Lovett perfectly.

I adore this film though and you did really well blending the songs... I absolutely adore Epiphany and A Little Priest!

alas, this compares nothing to the 1982 production. depp is good and so is Carter, but George Hearn IS Sweeney Todd and Angela Lansbury IS Nellie Lovett. sorry, but those two were born for th parts, even if depp shows darkness (though very little emotion...).

Also, I think Mr. Hearn was very entertaining as Todd. I haven't seen the whole thing, but I have seen certain songs from that performance on Youtube, and I almost die of laughter when he makes this dramatic face in the middle of "A Little Priest". :'D

I think Titanic is better than Avatar because its like a memorial for those who died on the ship, but I think this is more fun to watch than both of them. <3 This is also much more fun to perform! :D I was in it last year for school, and am trying out for it again this year at the local theater. :3 I also like putting the movie on in my room and acting out all of the scenes and songs. :3 I learned how to behave like a psychopath last year in school! :D lol

Wow Sweeny Todd made a Box office hit of the century then AVATAR came along although that was a great movie i do prefer this one but my FAVORITE is Blind Side it was great!

Johnny Depp and Helena Bohnam Carter both sang beautifully. I was also impressed by Alan Rickman and Sahsa Baren Cohen (I think that's his name?)

They were all wonderful. Helena is my favorite Mrs. Lovett. Angela Lansbury (sp?) was good, but she just seems too old for the part. Patti Lupone sounds like nails on a chalkboard.

Sorry but they CANT sing ! True some notes they hit great. But the way they sing in this film makes them perfect for the part !! the way they stretch on there notes makes it more "realistic" for the sadistic and revengal story that it is !!

It's pretty gory, it's not Saw gore, more like a cartoon color for blood(One of Tim Burton's touch to the movie haha). My mom covers her eyes when the gore comes, overall the movie's very good.
