that has to be like 90 C.O.E.-E or 95. If thats the red torch from a hobby store it and bonds glass that quick............ nice work from one maker to another, but i work with 30-60 COE oxy/pro set-up. i would melt that right off. maybe back when i was using M.A.P.P.

o ok i bought a $10 torch head that attaches to my propane. will this work? or will it take a really long time?

will it work with soft and hard glass?

Maybe you should buy the book "Making glass beads" by Cindy Jenkins. This gives you the answer to all your questions. It was a great help for me to start with! Let me see the result of your work.

rod your are using, to wrap the color rod on is a mandrel, correct?

what is the white coating on it? white color rod?
