just because its not modern avant garde wanking doesnt mean it isnt. It may be a little old fashioned for you, or too romantic for you. its a jazz ballad simple as.

I'll rather say it's too modern for me. I mean this music has nothing in common with what John Coltrane, Charlie Parker or Louis Armstrong played. That's why i wonder.

Bop is just 2 5 1s with fast scales. I never connected with bop because its all about technicality and never any emotion or groove

Coltrane played nature boy on one of his 1965 album...and he called it jazz in those days!!!

I wonder why you don''t know why jazzmusicians call these 2 songs jazz ....

Only someone who doesn't know jazz...ask those kind of questions..!!!
