Thanks for posting this. I was 13 years old back in 1978 and this tour was the first concert I ever got to see. I was pretty blown away and in ensuing years considered myself very lucky to be able to see the Mark 1 lineup before the split. Thanks again. PS...The opening act was Van Halen when I saw them!! lol

Haha, you can say whatever you want. But you can't deny Tony's LARGE infleunce on Eddie's playing. When Van Halen first started they were called "Rat Salad", which is a song off Black Sabbath's Paranoid album. And when Van Halen were opening for Sabbath, Eddie started to do things that Tony would do from Sabbath's set. But my point is, Eddie would probably not be a guitarist if it wasn't for Tony Iommi. And if would be he wouldn't be the kind he is today.

Also, I don´t understand wheres the problem with Angus Young. Nobody copyed anything from anyone. They just all had the same influence of music...70´s Rock and hard Rock. I wouldn´t name Black Sabbath Metal, until 1979 when Ozzy left the Band and also the style of BS totally changed. Angus Young just kicks ass. He might be one of the best live performers ever...and that´s important. He and Malcolm created some of the greatest Rock Songs ever. And AC/DC also had a very personal style.

Well, actually @Spacecowboy is right. Led Zeppelin are far more difficult to learn, then Black Sabbath Songs. Also, don´t forget that Iommi is handicapped with his lost finger tips.Iommi has a advantage over Page. He perfectly uses the concept of "less is more". His songs are always slow, but amazingly powerfull and hes has a brilliant ear. Page is just that, a Perfectionist...Iommi, just like Hendrix...is a Virtuoso...that´s the difference. You don´t need technique to be good, but a good ear

Im sorry but Jimmy is not a perfectionist. Have u heard heartbreaker? It might be one of the sloppiest solos ive ever heard, but he makes it sound awesome. Jimmy is a sloppy player, but i think every solo he writes has soo much feeling and emotion behind it. I think his solos are far above any other guitarist. It seems like every solo he does completes and makes the song brilliant. And i think Jimmy also has a "good ear" if he can write as many rock classics as he did
