  • i had my concert yesterday lol

  • While all of the videos she was in gave good information, she needs to work on reading from a script. She pauses at awkward moments, and it is painfully obvious that she has no idea what she's doing (in terms of recording the video). I spent more time paying attention to her awkward pauses than to the information she was trying to present.

  • @smartiey2 Her sentences are somewhat redundant/ repetitive.

  • :P it's cute when little kids dance to sexy music mane not 4 but like 6

  • Not only is costume appropriateness essential, but also finding a studio that cares about the individuals and makes their students comfortable. A teenager with body shape concerns isn't going to want to wear a unitard on stage, and that will show in her body language once she's up there!

  • It's also important to make sure the studio isn't soly focused on the dance recital. This takes away from technique work and the importance of regular class, because these studios spend months just rehearsing the routines. If costume cost is a concern, it's a good idea to check out schools with a costume closet. Usually these schools have productions that are story-based, and cycle through a 5 yr period or so and re-use the costumes.
