Sorry but I think you're wrong about Bombay Bicycle Club's album. If you listen to their first album and then the new one, never mind flaws, there's definitely a natural progression to it. They're not avoiding pushing the boundaries they are building on the sound they do best. Also I think it'd be great if you reviewed a Maccabees album!

Exactly "right down the middle if the road" indie is exactly what is playing on the radio these days. I'd venture to say that it's not even necessary to review FTP because they get so much air play, there's nothing left to talk about. However Blink - omg - listen to the album Anthony. I never was a blink fan but I listened to After Midnight, Wishing Well, ghost on the dance floor, heart is empty. The lyrics are amazing you should listen.
