@dstargamer I kinda lucked out and got gyped at the same time. Found a AR at the best buy here in town about 4 years ago for 20$, then couldn't find the select button on the cube controller to put in custom codes.

@dstargamer Not that I know of, I think the closest you can get now is running some program on the wii. Don't have a wii so I don't know where to start looking.

yeah heres the thing; since dark samus is a creature of the light world (Tallon IV in this case), it is weak against the dark beam the most.

I actually thought that boost guardian to be the most difficult boss on MP 2... maybe because you had to keep chaging to morph ball and evade it. I dunno, it was long ago anyway...(i was still a kid and a bit noob =P)

@GodzillaxD Ya, I unlocked hard mode for the first time a few weeks ago aftre picking up the game again. The spider boss took me 26 (yes, 26) tries. Every other boss (with the exception of 2 or 3 tries on Alpha Blogg) was 1 try every time. Spider guardian is definitely the most difficult due to the lack damage you can cause and inability to avoid getting hurt... a lot.

I tend to turn off the music to introduce a whole extra level of Immersion into the game, also lets you hear the finer sound effects like a space pirate trying to walk up behind you

i dont get how to get the beam ther 2 way into the plase but you cant get in to any first one you need to grappil your self to the other side but you cant reach them and the other you need the beam to get pass so you need the beam to get the beam wtf

i hope at one point nintendo gets its act toghether and releases a collection of all the metriod prime games fused together into something like: Metroid Prime Anthology or something, and you could carry weapons from one game to the next. i so want to use the nova beam on some hidden area in metroid prime 2 to unlock something or use hypermode on the first boss in metroid prime 1

Um... actually, they're all more powerful than the beams in Prime 1, I checked against similar enemies, like aerotroopers, charged shot from plasma beam, two uncharged shots from dark beam. Big difference. Actually, the annihilator LOOKS weaker than it is, it's the smooth animation and quiet sounds that throw you off.

@truth1011985 For the first time after passing the game about ten times, when I got the annihilator beam I decided "you know what? I'm just going to completely ignore the fact that this has limited ammo and use it like it's unlimited" And it turned into a lot of ownage, cause when you're low on ammo, everything you kill drops TONS of it and it's like there's not even a limit. And I did a test and each annihilator beam shot is equal to 5 power beam shots.

it's just that he doesn't have ammo since he have only the beams, but not the ammos, since he got them with cheats. so the charged annh beam does just a normal shot instead of charged
