One of the saddest mmo I've played in my life. Gameplay is dull has hell, missions are a joke, mining is for afk players(only in eve does the term afk players exist). Trading....well that's probably the best part of the game, the economic system is pretty great. And they make the videos as if fighting is full of action and fun..complete total lie. Developers team, game masters are the lasiest son of bitches you'll ever meet. All they say: ''well it's game mecanics''.

@Kazaa2007 If they spent the amount of time on the actual gameplay than they would on these trailers it would be :( all games do this, I don't think people entirely realise just how LONG it takes to make the bigass cienematic trailers nevermind how much it costs.
@Lethn It's a necessary evil, first trailers help get new players to join the game, which means more meat for you my felow friend with gazillon of Skillpoints :D EvE above all needs new players :) That's why often veterans that gank your merlin will give you a bit a isk to start over, so that people don't rage quit. And of course they will pod you and your battleship in a few months.

@sabin15 The buddy system does not give us any credit card numbers. All it gives us is an email address, which you could easily just create on yahoo or something. We give you that 21 day free trial, and if you subscribe, we get basically a free month to play. Your credit card number in no way goes to us. It goes to CCP, the company running the game. And they are no more likely to steal it than Blizzard is or any other gaming company.

Since quafe is like the single most popular drink in new eden, it seems unlikely that they'll need to advertise so much all over the place. It's like coca cola, when's the last time you've seen a coca cola ad? Everyone knows what it is, and people probably buy it on a daily basis without even having to contemplate it. Why does everyone laugh at the "Military experts are calling this a cynosural field" part. Cyno fields can only be made in lowsec, and I've always assumed that fictional civilians in New Eden are unfamiliar with lowsec, therefore they do not know what a cyno field is.
Gallenteans are so intent on destroying Amarr, look at the ratio of ships 10(Gallente): 1 (Amarr) +1 Gallente Titan.... I almost want to be on the Gallente side right now.
@MalumZeth lol same i. I would also love if the Cyno's really did that for the capital ships, not just pop in, i mean come through it. That would make me shit every time I would see it!
It can probably handle eve. EVE doesn't have a lot of moving meshes, mostly just textures.
After all, these are rigid spaceships, not people. Also, I do recomend this game. For a beginner, it's hard to start, but i've found that the best way is to get out of a rookie ship by building your own, because you don't need anything higher than base levels in industry to build a decent frigate.
Noob question. I have just bought an Asus g-73 , will it handle these graphics?? I used to play warcraft but got tired of it.I'm looking for a new MMo with a space theme.....im thinking about getting Eve...but the reviews are not kind at all.I have patience, but not sure if my new lappy can handle what appears to be awesome graphics...
@bloodyhammer1 Depends on the graphics mate, EVE has spectacular graphics but you can slim them down quite a bit and they still look fine if you have trouble running them. However, you have a new Laptop, so it should work fine.
@TheQeric Yes.. the titan doomsday (the black ball of energy) wiped out most of the amarrian fleet. Of course, game mechanics have changed and the doomsday isn't an area of effect weapon anymore. Now it's a targeted weapon like a monster laser beam that will kill a capital ship in a single blast.

Since quafe is like the single most popular drink in new eden, it seems unlikely that they'll need to advertise so much all over the place. It's like coca cola, when's the last time you've seen a coca cola ad? Everyone knows what it is, and people probably buy it on a daily basis without even having to contemplate it. Why does everyone laugh at the "Military experts are calling this a cynosural field" part. Cyno fields can only be made in lowsec, and I've always assumed that fictional civilians in New Eden are unfamiliar with lowsec, therefore they do not know what a cyno field is.

It can probably handle eve. EVE doesn't have a lot of moving meshes, mostly just textures.
After all, these are rigid spaceships, not people. Also, I do recomend this game. For a beginner, it's hard to start, but i've found that the best way is to get out of a rookie ship by building your own, because you don't need anything higher than base levels in industry to build a decent frigate.

I used to play warcraft but got tired of it.I'm looking for a new MMo with a space theme.....im thinking about getting Eve...but the reviews are not kind at all.I have patience, but not sure if my new lappy can handle what appears to be awesome graphics...

@bloodyhammer1 Depends on the graphics mate, EVE has spectacular graphics but you can slim them down quite a bit and they still look fine if you have trouble running them. However, you have a new Laptop, so it should work fine.

@TheQeric Yes.. the titan doomsday (the black ball of energy) wiped out most of the amarrian fleet. Of course, game mechanics have changed and the doomsday isn't an area of effect weapon anymore. Now it's a targeted weapon like a monster laser beam that will kill a capital ship in a single blast.
