The age gap is probably too big for Sesshoumaru and Rin to become a couple, that's true. But seriously, how can they be father-daughter, or even brother-sister? It just feels wrong, somehow. There isn't any sign showing that Sesshoumaru views Rin as a daughter/sister. And even though it's not a romantic relationship, it doesn't mean it is a family relationship! True, there are other kinds of love, but it is more like the bond between a guardian and his precious ward.

I've never imagined Sesshomaru and Rin's relationship as a father-daughter or neither as a Old brother-sister one; I think that the most appropriate classification for their relation is considered as a Guardian-ward relationship; Sesshomaru is like Rin's guardian, he deeply cares for her and tries to protect her from every harm due that he consider Rin as the most valuable person in all his life, while Rin is devoted for him, simple as that. Who knows what will happen for them in the future ;)

InuYasha final act is the name of episodes that came later in anime. Last year I think, since there wasn´t any english dubbed versions available last autumn at least. If I remember correctly there are 26episodes in the final act.

Definately worth watching since it continues the story to the very end. Whereas the first episodes only got us near the end :D

I agree that their relationship is a father/ daughter thing and it's really beautiful that way. You should try to be respectful of the fact that there is more than just ONE kind of love in the world. Trying to make their love romantic just doesn't make sense when he basically adopted her as small child and watched her grow up.
