THe unicrons arnt getting back together, but the main people from the unicorns are now in the band Islands. Islands sounds alot the same as the unicorns but is better in many ways.

Unicors were 3 and 2 of them (Nick Diamond and drummer Jaime Tombeur) went on to form Islands. However the 2 main songwriters (Nick and Alden Penner) went seperate ways. Today, one is with Islands (Nick) and one has formed the band Clues (Alden).

I find it misleading to say that ''the main people'' are with Islands. And Islands doesn't sound a bit like the Unicorns.

If you cant recognize how the unicorns were a disorganized, two-bit hobo act, that didn't hit their stride until Islands, than someone aughta slapjack your cheesesteak philly style. What you are saying is true. It made me think.

Think about the crazy jump from the unicorns (trash-pop), return to the sea (sweet-popish), arm's way (rock, elo strings), vapours (electro). Maybe it's because I've listened to all of the cds so much but I see a huge gap. Nick has really developed himself a lot. I miss Alden, though.

@alfaripopo The Islands do sound "a bit" like the Unicorns and in fact 2 songs they play are from the Unicorns and another (Swans) is a sort of rewrite of a Unicorns song.

And only 1 of them is gay, not that it matters anyway.
