I think it was Latias. In the beginning of the Japanese movie, latios and Latias made a soul dew and now this latios is dead. What I think is that the Latias and one latios were the past generation of the two. Then again, in the trivia game on the DVD, it asks what gift Bianca gave ash in the end.

Actually, it was Latias. Wearing or not wearing the hat, it makes no difference, she wouldn't always leave her hat on. Also, Lorenzo was surprised when Ash and his friends were leaving, meaning they hadn't told anyone in advance, so Bianca didn't know they were leaving. She had probably painted the picture for Pikachu and Ash ahead of time to commemorate their friendship and thank Ash for helping to save the city, but wasn't there, so Latias gave it to him instead.

And the drawing was from when she sketched him and Pikachu at the museum. She made it seem like Latias by not talking, and it would make sense since Latias befriended him. i don't know, i aggree with a lot of people. First of all, it's true that Bianca didn't show any interest in Ash and that she is the artist. And I think it was easy for Latias to turn back to fly with Latios at the end. In the whole movie you can see Latias and Ash playing, and she really likes him, 'cause she showes him the secret garden and she kinda helps him with the race, she protects him and he protects he. Maybe there is a connection between them.

Why would Bianca kiss Ash? Latias was the one that kissed ash because Latias had more feelings for ash! Bianca did'nt even blush when ash talked. And maybe Latias took the painting that Bianca was drawing for ash for they're goodbye, since Bianca left to the market. LATIAS AND ASH FOREVER! :D

I think it was Latias. In the beginning of the Japanese movie, latios and Latias made a soul dew and now this latios is dead. What I think is that the Latias and one latios were the past generation of the two. Then again, in the trivia game on the DVD, it asks what gift Bianca gave ash in the end.

Something i dont believe anyone mentioned is that it could not be latias, because latias is seen flying when ash, misty, and brock drive away on the boat, unless latias changed form that quickly.

Actually, it was Latias. Wearing or not wearing the hat, it makes no difference, she wouldn't always leave her hat on. Also, Lorenzo was surprised when Ash and his friends were leaving, meaning they hadn't told anyone in advance, so Bianca didn't know they were leaving. She had probably painted the picture for Pikachu and Ash ahead of time to commemorate their friendship and thank Ash for helping to save the city, but wasn't there, so Latias gave it to him instead.

It was probably Bianca. Like the comments before said, her grandfather said she went to the market, but when they showed her room, her hat which she wears was lying on the chair. And the drawing was from when she sketched him and Pikachu at the museum. She made it seem like Latias by not talking, and it would make sense since Latias befriended him. But I guess she just didn't want to admit her feelings [?].
Another piece of proof was when he was sailing on the boat and Latias was already above>

i don't know, i aggree with a lot of people. First of all, it's true that Bianca didn't show any interest in Ash and that she is the artist. And I think it was easy for Latias to turn back to fly with Latios at the end. In the whole movie you can see Latias and Ash playing, and she really likes him, 'cause she showes him the secret garden and she kinda helps him with the race, she protects him and he protects he. Maybe there is a connection between them.

it was definitely Biance. first of all because latias had a really friendly relationship with Ash. Secontly because Biance seems like a girl with a lot of passion inside her.thirdly because latias was just in sky.and Biance couldn't let her friends leave without saying goodbye.and last but not least because latias is a POKEMON. we can also say that everyone in first could think about latias who doesnt talk at all, but Biance knows that too. :P

It's Bianca, you can see in the scene that Bianca is not wearing her hat, wich means that just because in that scene she has no hat, doesn't mean that it's Latias, and also at the end of the movie you can see Latias flying, so Bianca kissed him ( she couldn't talk, she just ran as fast as she could, so she was puffed out!! )
