I have a BMW 320i 2005 e90 sedan and fitted some HID H7 6000k euroefx premium canbus with error canceling ballasts plug and play setup . It still created intermittent errors but with the plug and play relay resistor setup the problem went away. It seems that the car senses that the missing power drain of the OEM halogens of 55w each and occasionally detects this prior to the relay install. The errors came up when the battery in the car is old and the system checks for electrical malfunction whe
hahahaha this guy has absolutely no idea what he is talking about. "That fan thing.." hahaha wow. Well it's obvious he doesn't know what he's talking about considering the type of HIDs he put in his truck
Whats up everyone. I am customLEDLights on eBay. Come check out our store. We have some great deals going on right now. Feel free to call (219)476-5157
Nice truck man. Screw the haters. I had a question to ask. I just bought my car which has HID's installed but the new ballasts are still in the box in the trunk. Will installing the new ballast make a difference to the brightness. Their 8000k bulbs. Thanx
hahhah What a fucking idiot. Put headlights on for the purpose of blinding other drivers. Prick. I hope a semi driver that you dazzled with your shitty, incorrectly installed HIDs loses control and smashes your piece of shit truck, you're paralyzed for life, and he's uninjured. You should be shot in the fucking face, or at the very least, have your license revoked.
Driving is a privilege. And you're a fucking stupid dickhead.
Lol.. Dude, if you were behind me blinding me with that shit, I would seriously pull you out of your truck and stomp a mud hole in your ass. You need to have some respect for other drivers before you end up getting someone killed.
Sad to see ignorants like you bragging about your setup which effectively blinding everyone else on the road, BMWs or no. you are just so missed informed about BMW or OEM HIDs. They do not have the kind of glare that your crappy setup has!
Mmmm alot of people have those HID lights with the cable tat goes to the battery why??? because i have a 08 chrysler sebring and i bought the 8000k but my kit never had the cable tat goes to the battery do you know why??? thank you!!!
@Nadsofalex I have a 2010 ram and i had issues with the hid's at first... i needed capacitors. Put them on and still had issues. what i did was to connect to the parking lamps. (ballasts dont have enough resistance so the computer reads a burnt out lamp signal, therefore shutting off power to the headlamp). fog lamps work flawlessly.
The Lexus IS300 come with HID lights and no projectors, i dont know why people keep saying that you need to have projectors with HID because you dont!
Its all about the glare. Projectors prevent glare and the light stays off the on coming cars. Regular recflector headlights send off glare to on coming people.
I understand what you are saying, but again the Lexus IS300 and some of the older ES300's came with HID in reflector housing lights. The most important thing is that you adjust your HID lights when you install them. Most people dont adjust them to what they should be.
@joseph350z I have a 530 with 6000k that's more than enough + your truck is way too high. I regret to agree with a lot of the comments this lights are great, but you got to be a little more conscious of other people and maybe get headlamps with projectors. Otherwise I hope they don't cause an accident.
haha you payed 30 fucking bucks for a fucking relay set up!!! so you got 200+ in you're fucking hids!!!! hahaha next time you are looking for parts let me know so I can fuck you.
I love your irresponsible comment - "they are very bright and they blind other people which is a part of HID and why BMW..." How old are you? Most immature and dumb thing I've heard someone say - and when you get hit head-on or cause an accident, you'll be the one explaining it to the courts unless someone yanks you out of your truck or smashes your headlights while you're sleeping. Dumb
hey i have an 06 ram with H.I.D's in the head lights and fog ligts do your fog lights go out after a while cuz when i installed mine they were good for about a month and than the fogs went out so i had to bring it to the dealer for them to reset the computer and i got the truck back and the same thing happened again about 2 weeks later. do you have that problem?
Dont waste your money on hid kits, one they are not reliable, and two they are illegal in most states, and if they are not illegal in your state, it will be soon. These headlight housing, are not designed for HID, you have to project hids, or the light is scattered, and it does more harm then good. Just a little food for thought....
Who's the "kid" that said they weren't illegal in LA? You better check your state. The bottom line is the halogen housings are not designed for the light output of HID. I'd love to see the dummies with these things driving in fog. You'll blind yourself beyond measure.
Sorry buddy, but vehicles that come with factory installed HID's don't blind you. Majority are installed in a projector housing and most have an auto-leveling device... Your aftermarket install does blind on coming drivers as the relector housing isn't designed for the HID light pattern, and is illegal.
Yes it is. It's ILLEGAL in every single state to have a drop in HID kit. Look up the laws, SAE, USDOT, and any other local codes and you will see. You just happen to not have a ticket yet. Most cops are busy doing other things but your time will come I'm sure. That's why you get flashed by high beams from oncoming drivers and if you say you don't I'm sure you're full of it. It's illegal and you blind people and even WORSE in reflector fog lights! Stupid is what this is.
you live here with me? do you know the cops down here? no you don't. Two of my family members are state troops, and guess what in Louisiana its not illegal, almost every one down here that has hid's has them in non projector housings so get over it and no i don't get flashed since im not retarded and have the beam focused right only time i got flashed was when i pointed the beam up really high to see how bad it blinded people it was funny as hell.
look at 0:49 you can clearly see the bulb is not even seated properly. the return wire is suppose to be on the bottom of the bulb not on top at an angle...that's what crappy hid kits give you...improper fitment and tons of glare.
BMWs with HIDs have factory made HID install using PROJECTOR headlights that have a sharp cut off that is aimed at the road not at other driver's eyes.
Nice HIDs, yes to Mazinkaifer you gotta buy two kits, one kit comes with two bulbs and two ballasts, but they look really good with both fogs and headlamps

i bought a plug-n-play HID kit. I plugged everything in, but it doesn't work.. there is no relay or anything. the guy at the store i bought it from said it powers from the stock wires. any help??
your kit might have other wires that connect to battery cuz u might need more power to start your hid's,just buy a relay, check for sellers on the web that sell items 4 hid kits seperately thats compatible with yours
On the cable that connects from the ballasts to the bulbs, make sure the two wires are positive to positive and the negaitive wire matches up with the negative wire from the ballast. And make sure the adapters are clicked in completely. That should work, but if it doesn't keep switching the wires around and eventually it will
did you ever figure that out? i bought a kid same scenario. one light lights up the other one doesnt. But i swapped lights so its not blown ballask its like only one side is getting power. but my kit did not come with relay or positive or negative wire connectors
call this number, and say you need a relay for a 2007 dodge ram 219-805-1467. its the tech support number for the store i got the HID's from. they relay kit is all plug-n-play and cost around $30.
