@LaxRatBra Well, point is, you kinda have to analyze this if you want to figure out if it's comedy. The first time I saw this I thought it was very funny and I still felt bad, because a lot of people seemed to think it was Tim's legit musical side project and didn't know what to think about it but liked the songs. In this case, we analyzed, we figured out he's doing satire, and suddenly it's funny. Without analysis you just end up confused and have 'Cocaine' stuck in your head and maybe nose.

It's a spot-on parody of the genre of music and time period, from the name of the band, the clothes worn, the style of music, and the lyrics of the songs. The man is (as is his partner) probably the greatest gift to comedy and intelligent satire as Shakespeare. Seriously, he's a fucking genius. It's not "Is he srs?" or "Is he troll?". The 3rd option: HE KNOWS WHAT HE'S DOING.
