This death in your family has obviously been really hard for you, Darrell. It's really hard to see you like this. You're a good man, and you don't deserve this(I know how you feel about people calling others "good", but keep in mind that I'm talking human standards here, not God's standards). Hang in there, man! Although Satan cannot take over us when Christ enters our heart and the Holy Spirit fills us, that does not make us immune to demons. Christians can quite literally have demons and when they are forced out, they get quite vocal. Your right when you said that our society (including our families) don't teach us how to grieve properly. We are expected to 'get over it" quickly because it makes people uncomfortable! What you said in the end about reaching out and making amends with someone was so good Darrell...we forget so soon that our lives here are fleeting and could end in an instant (if God permits). Our daughter and I didn't have that great of a morning right before she was struck by a car. We NEVER know how long we have with each other. After losing someone dear to us we tend to dwell on the shoulda, coulda, woulda's and that just leads to misery in guilt.
