  • nobody talked about the underclass because nobody wants to talk about black poverty.

whites have given up on helping blacks because they think it does not work anymore.

  • I don't know about his ideas on race and "superiority" but I agree with 90% of what he says in this video.

    Good ol Murray

  • Brilliant. And courageous in a world of knee jerk reactions and angry villagers who win arguments by using violence. Another poster said Murray should be shot between the eyes. Yeah, it's REAL hard to believe some people are genetically inferior! ;\

  • Thank you sir you are so right. The clinton presidency did nothing to help minorities. How come clinton doesn't live in harlem and I wonder how often he goes to the office in harlem?

  • Murray is great.

  • I like how he turns down his racial rhetoric when he is in a room full of black people. Charles Murray is a political scientist who attempts to play the role of a sociologist -- this is hilarious!

  • Isn't this the same Charles Murray who believes his race is genetically superior to minorities? Yep! No one cares what this KKK white supremist thinks.

Clinton did talk about the underclass and created empowerment zones in inner city communities... the black middle class increased 16% during the 90s so this guy doesn't know what he is talking about.

  • I think this guy does know what he is talking about. I think it absurdly reductionist of you to associate him with the kkk for racialist views. I understood one of the things that Clinton did to help blacks (and everyone) was to severely reduce benefit pay. If you pay people to not work then they won't. Take the money away and they will work.

  • Oh really what did he major in at Univ?

  • Charles Murray first came to national attention in 1984 with the publication of: Losing Ground: American Social Policy 1950--1980.

  • Murray, like fine wine, gets better with age.
