Your video demonstration made it so convenient to remotely help my father, who is 80+ years of age, in configuring his Aspire One for use with an external HDTV monitor with the lid close. Thank you so much for taking the time in making it available. Sincerely, egc-VirginiaBeach
Just wanted to say thanks for these aspire one review videos!
You have the best reviews of all the important aspects of the AO I've ever seen. You certainly seem to know what you're talking about and know what you're doing. I love that you've decided to keep Linux on it.
Very impressed with your knowledge and experience on the subject as most people who are as knowledgeable as yourself are usually not that helpful to others.
I love my aspire one but it seems that whenever it goes into standby after about 20 minutes I can't get it out of standby. The wifi light is on and the system green light is on but nothing will wake it from its slumber. I was considering just turning off standby mode because I have to reboot the system whenever this happens. My aunts aspire one also does this so it would be helpful to get this figured out.
Thanks, very good videos. As a suggestion how about adding something that requires you to us add remove programs and repository's. like maybe VLC Player, Firefox3 or the other useful programs that don't come preinstalled and don't have a helpful web download page that supports Linux like Skype did. thanks again
Thank you so much skateasian.... ;))
