Purtroppo credo che il video svilisca completamente la superba ed indiscussa Bellezza della canzone. Non si tratta dell'idea nè del contrasto che si è voluto rappresentare, bensì della qualità del video. Non tanto il cosa è rappresentato, ma il come.

my god, i can't stop watching! once i've started to understand piece by piece, i've viewed it over and over again... because i liked the meaning i thought i saw. on the first day, for almost a whole hour... and the more i understood, the more it touched me, the more i wanted to watch it. it was only at maybe the sixth viewing that i fully grasped it and how it relates to my life and a lot of people's lives and the powerful way in which it is portrayed finally brought tears to my eyes. fantastic!

@lauritta0 well... i'm not a big fan of explaining art. because often with art, there is no definite explanation and the same applies here. i think it can be interpreted in different ways.

but what did help me in terms of getting over the superficial absurdity was looking up what the "haka" is. i had never heard about it and a friend told me that that is what they are doing. once i read about what it is, i was able to focus on deeper issues, partly obviously relating to the dance.

vi prego..ritiratelo dal web! E' un insulto al vostro genio musicale. Capisco l'idea di creare contrasto, colpo, attenzione etc...ma l'idea del contrasto tra la danza classica e l' "Haka" degli All Blacks lo trovo volgare e soprattutto inutile. E' un video senza senso, se non quello del contrasto fine a se stesso e basta. A parte tutto, anche tecnicamente credo sia fatto molto male. Mi spiace vedere sprecata un'occasione come questa per questa splendida canzone. un vostro ammiratore.

@missballerina901 certo che è un'antica danza tribale maori, lo so...solo che oggi la si associa principalmente agli All Blacks. Ma infatti, cmq sono sconcertato di come gli Ashram abbiano accettato di pubblicare un video del genere. E' davvero fatto molto male, nella tecnica che nella scelta delle comparse..oltre che il tema scelto, che come ti dicevo è davvero fine a se stesso e basta, senza senso se non quello del contrasto gratuito e basta. mi dispiace soltanto. molto.

evidentemente nn si è capito il contrasto che alla base del lavoro..il fatto che le ballerine siano vestite da danzatrici classiche non implicava l'uso del repertorio...l'insulto alla danza ci sarebbe stato nel caso ci fossero state ballerine classiche danzanti del repertorio ma con braccia storte , piedi en dedant equant'altro...la danza non è il punto focale del video!
