This may sound ridiculous but this show is in my top 5 favorite wrestlng shows of all time. For me, this joins the elite group of the greatest wrestling shows of all time (along side with ROH Supercard of Honor, DreamSlam 1 and TPI 2006). Think about it, every tournament match is above or on par with ***1/2 stars. And the semi-finals were both **** bouts and the finals was surely ****1/2. Only 1 match was weak, and that was the first non-tourny match.

I saw this show live, it was awesome... I personally love the PWG crowd.. It's a smart-mark atmosphere and they're not afraid to say what they're thinking.. Which I personally think adds to it.

About Young Bucks/Cutlers... Matt and Nick Jackson helped train the Cutlers, and they've had a little mini-feud going on for a little while now.

I still don't get why the main event was so great. The production values, i know most indy shows dont have good production values, but in this particular match it was just BAD. The commentating, which yes i have to listen to when i watch these dvds on my computer, was just god awful. The Young Bucks literally were on offense for 2 minutes in total in a 20 MINUTE match. It just seems so dissapointing compared to everything else. Great review otherwise and finally someone likes Guns/Dolphins.

At the risk of sounding smug, as someone who has been to a few PWG shows, the reason the crowd seems nonchalant is because they're paying very close attention to the matches. If you look at the person next to you, he might be quite but he's very enthralled in whats going on, you talk to them after the show and they're very ecstatic about it. They go to see the show, not be part of it, or in same cases (the iMPACT zone) take it over.

I'd say the counterpoint would be that they hold mat work and selling in the same regard as highspots.

The shows are in LA, there are plenty of entertainment options, the people who go to PWG shows go because there is no where else they'd rather be. There are thousands of other things they could be doing, but they choose wrestling. I don't know why they aren't rowdy, but it's unfair to say they don't give a shit, and unreasonable to say they go because they have nothing else to do.

Ive only seen a couple of PWG shows and Ive never seen a great PWG World Title Match.

I reviewed PWG99 and thought that that match was going long and trying to be a big deal when it didnt really suit the flow of the show.

If I can scrape together some money ill def buy this show based on your, Sanders Robin, Bigrat and Nightmareballas reviews.
