  • Hey guy...

    Still kickin'?

    Ian

  • Very nice technique, especialy the legs !

Have you cut your training in 3 parts ?

I think yes, you have a good cardio.

I never realised that a light bag could be very interisting for training.

    Very good work !

  • Just a question, why is it important to use gloves? Im not trying to sound super tough or anything but I would've thought that gloveless is good for conditioning your fists provided you're not punching brick walls or anything like that

  • If you want your hands to function properly when you get older I would suggest using bag gloves. Good head gear and 16 oz. boxing gloves when sparring are not optional in my opinion. We have to think past the present and into the future. Long term quality of life is more important to me then short term tougher hands.

  • Is it the camera that makes it look sped up?

  • It is the raw video ... no modifications. I should have applied a color correction but I was to lazy.

  • I went to school with Bruce. I can attest to the speed. Bruce, if you are out there, look me up. Cheers, Vince

  • That`s the shit man ! ;) nice spin kick!

    How heavy is the bag?

  • This bag is long gone now so I can't weight it accurately, but it was probably somewhere between 30 to 40 pounds. It was filled with medium and light weight foam rolled around 4 by 4 going down the middle.

I have hit so many different types of bags but this one was my favourite.

  • hey this video is pretty cool nice kicks. Im thinking about buying a heavy bag and speed bag for martial arts training. But after all the stuff I heard Im kinda worried about breaking my hand if I hit the bag wrong(I already know about hand wraps and bag gloves) but im still kinda nervous about buying a heavy bag I just wanted to know is there anything I need to know concerning how to hit the bag?

  • Get a good pair of bag gloves with decent padding. The ones I am using in this video are like 4 ounce boxing gloves with about an inch of fairly hard padding. I prefer lighter bags filled with a harder type of foam but soft enough that it doesn't feel like you're hitting a tree :D. Start off training by hitting the bag lightly (what you feel comfortable with) trying to use good technique (hands up, chin down, using your hips, keeping your eyes on the target, etc).

  • oh ok thank you very much now all I have to do is save my money :)

  • It's was just what was playing at that particular time ... not bad tunes though IMHO :D

  • pretty good technique. just keep your guard up cause you are inviting an opponent to kick och punch you in the face.

  • Nice bag control
