hey :) klasse video erstmal

ich habe mir parallels desktop 7 Testversion zugelegt. Darauf hin wollte ich es gleich installieren doch ich muss z.B. Windows 8 mit CD installieren! Weißt du eine andere Möglichkeit? ich hab Win8 auf meinem Mac Schreibtisch :) HILFE

@KingEdgard96 Was ist daran eine verarsche?! Es geht wohl bei dir nicht, da dein mac oder pc GTA IV nicht packt. wenn du BootCamp unter einer Virtual Program Emuliesrt, bist auch in der lage Spiele zu zocken, da die echte Festplatte benutzt wird. Wieso es auf einer VHD Nicht geht, weiß ich leider auch nicht.

@KingEdgard96 Dann musst du ja auch nicht "verarsche" schreiben, wenn du nicht selber einen Mac hast. Mir gings hier nicht im Video wie es läuft oder wie es aussieht, in dem Video gings einfach darum ob es geht oder nicht.

I can't play games in parallels for some reason. I tried mw2 but it was so laggy even with the lowest settings (i have a 15inch macbook pro) that it was unplayable, but it worked fine when i used to play it using boot camp

@macbookpro57 Dunno what's the problem. But there are a few things:

1. You have launched mw2 three times.

2.You have got shitty specs as my old pc does.

3. You've launched too many speed and memory eating programs.

But I suggest you to install windows via bootcamp, cuz you won't have working two os at the time and when you're doing that your computer is working shitty, because of the big amount of the work your computers doing. But is you want to use parallels, better make a cluster computer.

okay, i have a question, do you share the HD between OSX and 7 (so that 7 on Parallel desktop can access anything on HD)??

@rayjr1998 Windows 7 isn´t able to read the files onyour HFS+(Mac) drive, unless you install the drivers for it and accept it :)

hi i got a question. i have just installed my windows 7 on parallels. but i cant seem to launch the game because it keeps saying 'no suitable graphics card or render mode found. Please try to install the latest graphics driver to solve the problem.' Please help. i do know that i need directX and windows live but can u tell me what i am lacking? Thanks

How did you get GTA IV to run if Parallels does not support Pixel Shader 3.0 which is necessary for running the game? I am trying to get GTA IV to run and it won't work. How did you do it? What are your specs?

@AlphaWhiskey7 I don't know i just started the game, and it works. i have a iMac 27" with Intel Dual Core i7 and 4 GB RAM and a ATi Radeon HD 4850 Graphiccard. Oh and Mac OS X Snow Leopard 10.6.5

@FireryNapalm I have the lastest verson of PD. Make sure you run EFLC, IV in Windows 7, becuase it doesn't work in XP, Vista, 2000

What kind of mac do you have though. I got the late 2010 mac pro. I have Parallels 6 on here as well.

Ofcourse my version of EFLC wasnt completely legit.

Any particular settings on your Parallels though?

@FireryNapalm I have the iMac Late 2009 with 27", and i run this OS on Bootcamp, maybe this is way it works. Try to install Windows on Bootcamp and than go back to mac and open your OS in Parallels Desktop.

@GTAGAMECounterShot heh were there ever times when you were playing were u see black squares or it lags or freezes a little bit? I reinstalled it on my parallels.. It runs alrite.. still has some lag a little and graphical glitches. My graphics card is the Nvidia 320m on the Macbook Pro

this is a WINDOWS game running ON WINDOWS through PARALLELS.

and MAC hardware is just normal PC hardware with a TAP chip so it can run OSX
