well, cnn isn't balanced either. we need somebody to speak the truth. we can't listen to the US truths all the time...

"exactly" what do you mean by balanced journalism? and "exactly" in what sense this program fails to adhere to those standards? give us details.

Well firstly, the pictures shown in the intro are emotive, they show women crying, women behind barbeed wire and a child protesting on the street. Then the presenters comments strike me as slightly biased he says phrases such as "His failure has been total and devastating." This sounds less like a balanced report and more like a political speech.

Then Dick Cheney is called "One of the main promoters of bringing war to Iraq" Which smacks of character assasination to me. Then just before the Iraqi ambasador to the UN is introduced the presenter again talks about the "flagrent failures" of the Iraqi president. Then the other man is introduced as an "Iraqi affairs exepert" which is a completly generic title he might as well have been introduced as "some guy who supports our view on the matter"

Now, I'm not saying that these aren't all techniques used by some American broadcasters however the solution to political spin isn't more spin.
