Pain killers have a masking effect, that even when they don't cause death, they leave some wrestlers crippled and paralyzed in parts of their body. Just look at Dynamite Kid. Bret Hart says he took so many pain killers that he couldn't feel his legs and lower back nerves dieing. Now he has no use of his legs and is effectively a parapalegic. Bret Hart and Lex Luger had massive strokes after their careers. The tolls added up and came back to bite them.

No other sport requires athletes to slam their torso and head against a surface as many times as wrestlers do. Maybe football players, but they have pads and only play 16-20 full speed games a year. Most major organs are in the head and torso, so all of these collisions and shocks probably add up over time. The drugs don't help, but the main death causer is not steroids, but pain killers and muscle relaxers, a direct consequence of the body collision nature of wrestling.

@mccool75 i've read a plethora about what happened that day, there was never anything about a white car, can you provide any proof on that. also the blood thing is total bs. you're ignoring how all 3 lives were ended. nancy and daniel were both completely restrained before being strangled to death. in daniel's case there was evidence that he was drugged so he wouldn't be conscience when it happened. not to mention the fact chris died by hanging. all 3 fall into the category of bloodless deaths

@mccool75 there were flesh wounds on daniel and nancy. as for kevin, the events were a decade before the death, kevin was pissed, who wouldn't be if their wife cheated on you and eventually left you to be with the other man. while he blamed chris for the end of the marriage, to my knowledge he never said he would kill them. the drug thing i mentioned earlier was a very good example of why chris committed the murders, it's extremely unlikely that someone else would do that

Pain killers have a masking effect, that even when they don't cause death, they leave some wrestlers crippled and paralyzed in parts of their body. Just look at Dynamite Kid. Bret Hart says he took so many pain killers that he couldn't feel his legs and lower back nerves dieing. Now he has no use of his legs and is effectively a parapalegic. Bret Hart and Lex Luger had massive strokes after their careers. The tolls added up and came back to bite them.

I know this sounds like a conspiracy theory and it is but, what if this is murder? They give these guys contracts but they don't draw the money thats being paid by their contracts so there killed. @112proof That's a little drastic, but I won't put anything out of the realm of possibility when it comes to wrestling promoters like McMahon. He really doesn't seem to give two craps about wrestlers dying, and wants to channel the blame elsewhere when on a TV show doing an interview. Many wrestlers seem to hate his guts for what he's done to the business, like Bruno Sammartino and Billy Graham. These are legends with great careers and not just typical bitter wrestlers.

@112proof Seems that way huh?... This serial type death situation every couple years in pro wrestling is crazy and it seems no investigation of the type has ever taken place. If any other company had the same track record believe me it would get looked into. I think someone needs to just set up video surveillance on some of these guys houses to see just what comes and goes. Majority are found dead in home so it would only be a matter of time till there were some answers.

No other sport requires athletes to slam their torso and head against a surface as many times as wrestlers do. Maybe football players, but they have pads and only play 16-20 full speed games a year. Most major organs are in the head and torso, so all of these collisions and shocks probably add up over time. The drugs don't help, but the main death causer is not steroids, but pain killers and muscle relaxers, a direct consequence of the body collision nature of wrestling.

then need to wrestle less, travel less and have better medical care. The price is to high.
