  • Katrina was the biggest joke ever in the countrys history The only reason Katrina was bad is because levees failed after the storm.... so yeah the nashville flood much worse....and all those people that stayed behind after all the warrings for wht 2wks come on...nashville much worse

  • @yakojjy I agree with you it was way worse for Katrina there is no comparison except for they both had water!

  • I live in Nashville, most people have no clue how bad it was, because there was no National coverage. I was impressed both during and after with the way this City came together and helped each other, race had nothing to do with it man. It was about helping fellow human beings in their time of need. So please don't pull the race card somewhere that it is not valid. We also had lower Broadway (that was up to 12 ft under water) up and running for the CMA festival one month later.

  • @FirstLiasis Why was this flagged as spam?

  • Los Angeles News helicopter pilots never would have let the rescue out of site like this pilot did, he's off filming the trees.

  • i didnt even know this was going on

  • @briantdt Isn't that sad ? If niggras had been hollering for help, you would have known it was going on, several news reports a day, as well as Youtube putting up some kind of box for you to click on and donate, like they did for HaIti,

  • Where is the rage? Where is the outcry? Where are hoardes of people up on their roofs hollering for whitey to come and help them? Where is Fema? Where is the National Guard? This is much worse damage on a much bigger scale that there was in the Hurricane Katrina area. All I have seen is people, mostly whites, helping each other and doing what needs to be done.

  • @DoctorsAnLawyers This was not worse than Katrina.

  • @Supadave7 the heck it wasn;t , MUCH bigger area damaged as well.

  • @Supadave7 My husband works for a company that deals with people around the country. One of his customers was a Naval officer who worked in the Katrina area, and he said the flooding in Nashville was as bad as Katrina. Not worse, but it definitely was as bad.

  • @DoctorsAnLawyers You're comparing Nashville flood to katrina? Nashville may have been hit really hard in some places but katrina destroyed thousands of homes across half the state of Louisiana. How can you honestly compare a river to an ocean, and a city to a state? Not only racist you're ignorant too

  • @yakojjy People were told to leave New Orleans 3 days prior to Katrinas arrival, as it was a Cat 5 at that time. YES 3 days. The news telling people this ahead of time can be found right here on youtube. With the Middle TN flooding just as with our Ga flooding, we received a foot of rain within a short period of time. NO WARNING. The waters rose that fast, and this was a 500 yr flood.

  • @DoctorsAnLawyers because it was only a 2 day event with constant flooding, we didnt have much of a warning that that was going to happen, people were warned about katrina, nashville wasnt

  • Have Questions? Need Answers? - visit public service org website at NashvilleFlood - kind of like Yahoo Answers. Public Service for Nashville / Middle Tennessee for those who have questions / answers about the flood. Also has a video blog segmented by geographic regions of Middle Tennessee.

  • Mother nature has been saving up her attitude......and i think she just cashed the check.....

  • Intense! My prayers are with my fellow Nashvillians.

  • Worst thing about driving through flood waters folks, is you never know if the road is even there anymore...back up, never keep going.

  • nashville is devastated. i live in the suburbs so im fine, but we are asked to conserve water since one of the water treatment plants are under. fresh water could start running out soon in middle tennessee. that would be bad for the

1.7 million people who live either in of around nashville.

  • this is God talkin. the end of days will be here sooner than you know it. look at New Orleans.. Im from texas and i moved to Antioch on Bell Rd. This is ridiculous. The is an interstate that is in the air... THAT's how much water it is.

  • @bestyellaever

Actually, this section of I-24 is low to the ground, this happened where Blue Hole Rd crosses the interstate. Going east from here, it then goes uphill, and over Bell Road. They're only saying Bell Rd because its a more familiar reference point than Blue Hole Rd. Obviously this section of the interstate is not up in the air. You can see the trees are at the same height as the trucks.

  • @bestyellaever

I have lived in Antioch my entire life. Never have seen Mill Creek do this, but, I do know how I-24 rises and falls in height, to go with the flow of the hills and the streets it meets and exits off of. It is only sections of the interstate that got flooded, but the water did not get on the interstate at the Bell Rd exit.

  • @bestyellaever

If you listen in the beginning. they mention Lighthouse Christian School. It is very low next to the creek by that section of the interstate. The water rose about 10-12 ft according to the people who were there. They've said so on the news, from people calling in. I live about five min down the road from it. The interstate is only 3 ft higher than the ground next to it for that one area.

  • These past two days have been horrible in TN it's rained 13" in two days!

  • its not even raining that hard what the fart?

  • THIS IS SERIOUS!!!!
