According to wikipedia the game had been banned in UK , Poland, Australia and New Zealand

Banned by a technicality in Australia, as it was never actually submitted for classification.

Knowing the tool currently admist a vendetta against video games, if this was ever submitted whilst the current Party is in then it would have been officially banned.

It's without classification here (Aust) and NZ due to the distributor never submitting it.

Unclassified, unable to be sold in retail.

UK had controversy, it just wasn't released there either.

As the publishers' decided to drop the releases (or never even bothered to handle classification submission) due to the controversial press going around about the game - defeating the actual significance behind the plot sadly.

The same sort of issue arose previously with Clock Tower 3, but they still published it in the UK (not Aust or NZ if my memory is correct).

Personally, I wish they had published a PAL-E/UK version regardless of the media slander blowout on the themes.

Because as a game it falls flat on it's face.

Fighting is one sided and very difficult, and most of thye gameplay involves to and froing to different rooms, some right next to a previous one.

It story and soundtrack are the selling points of this game.

If it was a movie, it might not have been banned.

i think the lines "i will break my arm" and "when i'm in bed" make perfect sense. she's speaking of her love, saying she would break herself for the love she lost. "i want to be dead when i'm in bed" comes from how she lays alone in bed, and hates the loneliness from the love she lost...

If this was another engrish case, the whole song would've been fucked up, but actually it's just two lines, two words... Almost perfect lyrics ruined by two words? I have the sheet music for the piano arrangement which is a little different than the vocal version, but the same themes are incorporated.
