The A10 was a case of a gun that no plane could carry and fire. The Airforce/ Army took the Gun to the Aircraft manufacturer and told them to build a plane arounfdit the would fly and continue to fly while the cannon fires. The gas release is enough to stay out any other air frame design.

@Alexvideoclip definitely, delta wings and swept wings are made for control at extremely high speed. This is a regular strait winged aircraft, it should handle very nicely.

@kree1964 well it would take you at least a year minimum to gain the skills and confidence to fly a turbine jet, you would start flying with a high wing trainer then slowly move up. No one starts into RC with one of these right off the bat...lol

I'll tell you what it needs. A retired UASF armourer built a fully working .22 scale replica of an M61A1 minigun, for fun. They used it in the movie 'predator'. That's what this bad boy needs.

As someone who spent 5 years working on A-10s, I can tell you that this model (from what I can see on the vid) is extremely realistic, even down to the 'weathered' look. The only differences I could see are that scale models don't have the same flight characteristics as the real plane, and the motor that raises the cockpit is a little slow... :)
