None of you "know" precisely what any Sports Athlete is like OFF the field of battle. You don't know them personally UNTIL you've gotten the opportunity to KNOW them personally, period. And, most of us will NEVER get that opportunity.

You don't know these people and you most likely never will. All you know is what the MEDIA decides to tell you. Plenty of other PGA Tour Players could be having affairs but the MEDIA is not telling you their story. YOU simple DON'T KNOW.

everyone now feels 'phil is mr. wonderful, well before this victory he's had some issues with his peers on tour; so dont get lost in the perception. cant believe all the negative stuff bout Tiger....after all he didnt murder anyone-what he did was not good but my god he didnt invent infidelity!!!!

Phil has class, is a hell of a golfer, is devoted to his family, and JUST WON the green jacket and yet Tiger with his issues and personal shortcomings gets all the attention. I don't understand it. How can someone wish for Tiger to win this tournament over Phil? The best man won. Period. Tiger was out of his game, clearly.

The other point I wanted to make was about ESPN and their "Golf" coverage. ESPN knows ZERO about Golf apparently. Claiming that Phil is the "favorite to win" every time he tees it up, is like saying that Phil Mickelson holds the #1 World Golf Ranking - it is stupid. ESPN is clueless about professional golf and always has been.

Turn on the Golf Channel and get some historical perspective about the game, if you care to learn as much. The "favorite" is the player with the most wins - period.

As for the Tiger haters are concerned - you can hate Tiger all you want. You hated him before the SUV crash and you hate him now, so that won' t change. However, your ignorance of the game and its history is astounding.

Tiger: Fasted Man Alive to just under 80 PGA wins.

Tiger: 14 Majors.

Tiger: 4 Masters

Tiger: 5 Months Off & Still #1 World Ranking & Only 5 Strokes from 5th Masters.

I respect his ability, but I hate his attitude. Example, his interview after this masters, all he did was complain that 4th wasn't good enough even with all that happened, he could not even say any congrats to Mickelson, and what he has had to deal with.
