And pardon me for rambling, but thinking back to classic horror villains... Frankenstein's monster would be torn to pieces with ease by Pinhead's mind... Dracula's mind control would not work on Pinhead... werewolves and mummies would stand no chance... really, it seems as if Pinhead is the king of them all.

And needless to say that "ordinary" horror villains like Norman Bates and Hannibal Lecter would stand no chance, though Pinhead sort of reminds me of a supernatural Hannibal.

If I'm not mistaken, Pinhead is the most powerful of all horror movie villains... Freddy too can kill with his mind, but only in dreams, Jigsaw tortures in similar ways but is not supernatural, Jason, Michael, Leatherface, Chucky and Ghostface all need to make physical contact, directly or indirectly, to claim victims. Correct me if I'm wrong (I'm mainly a slasher fan, so I know less about Pinhead), but it seems to me that no other villain would stand a chance against him in a "vs." movie.

Actually, you're on the right track. What a lot of people don't realize is that the cenobites (including Pinhead) aren't just generic demon monsters from Hell. They are sado-masochist beings. The original point of the cenobites was them bringing EXTREMELY VIOLENT and PERVERTED BS&M "pleasures" to whoever summoned them.

Not saying anything for or against any of them, just pointing out a factual inaccuracy on your part. However it is true Pinhead was created to intentionally break the trend of characters like Jason and Michael, and was purposely designed based on Dracula.
