Ok Kids, you gotta understand, growing up with Megadeath, they were not half as good as pretty much all other "mainstream" metal/punk/thrash bands and Mustain was a whiner, In hindsight I can give them credit for sticking it out and being a good band, but at the time they sucked. Hey StayUgly, so what if I did find out about this band through Brutal Legend? MY generation has been underexposed to fantastic music. I grew up only listening to music from the 30's through 50's because that's what my parents listened to and the awful awful pop from the nineties. Revelation coming late is still revelation. Metal Gods bless Schaffer for bringing the light to the pop-oppressed masses.

Personally, I was already into metal before Brutal Legend but it introduced me to Angel Witch who, along with Iron Maiden, Diamond Head and Satan, are my fav NWOBHM band

I was actually gonna name some bands but realized they were in that game, even though iv'e listened to them way before I played it, Like" Slayer, Megadeth, Sabbath, Testament, Savatage, Anvil, Metal Church, Candlemass, Iced Earth, Def Leppard, Crimson Glory, and Anthrax. These are the Bands ive listened to before.
