  • why is it taken so long for a dvd release of this concert? Dame it!!

no reunion tour and still no new dvd!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Like the Pistols "reunion", there will always be mugs that will buy tickets.

  • ya Plant's voice sounded different but it didn't sound bad. I wish I was born in the early 60's or late 50's or something, just to have the opportunity to see those guys play.

  • I'm surprised how well plant's voice has held together. He sounded great

  • pa 43 seg. de video, mejor no haberlo colgao.

  • There's 20,000 seats at the O2. When tickets for this went on sale the O2 site got 200,000,000 hits before crashing.

  • overated

  • OI can only find like 8 songs of the concert!!!

  • @Mr8bitgamer ive got the whole thing...

  • is there any dvd of that concert? anyone knows??

    thanks

  • jimmy page has still got it

  • WHEN is this coming out on CD/DVD??

  • fucking idiots, its robert plant, not Myles Kennedy

  • Myles Kennedy can suck my dick no one matches plant!

  • @sgrant3354 are you dumb listin to it, at time i swear it is plant

  • @sgrant3354 Who the heck is Myles Kennedy? You mean the guy from Alter Bridge. What the heck is he being brought up on a Led Zeppelin video. Robert Plant is there singer!

  • @ufofan1980 its because I was referencing TheHuMoCa's comment about mr. myles being "able to match plants voice." I believe that comment is rubbish, therefore, MYLES KENNEDY CAN SUCK IT. Don't worry, i'd prefer Robert PLant over whoever the hell myles sings for

  • i think Myles Kennedy can match Plants voice very well

  • stay together

  • Showw !!!!!!

  • applied but never got to see them thts the one thing in life ill never see

    Led Zeppelin

  • @SuperKirkHammett

Yeah, same here... unfortunately I'll never see them live. You know most of the time I go on youtube and look at their live performances and pretend I'm there lol.

  • they still got it! they hsould make another album!!!

  • thats where michael jackson was supposed to preform but you know

  • i hope there's a dvd of this, would be totally worth it

  • They said to the press that Zeppelin was a creative force of four. without John that force is not anymore so the rest of the band can' t continue. That' s why they split, LZ is RP, JP, JPJ & JB. They are unreplaceables. Period.

  • Ha! You should have been there, then YOU would have been going crazy!

  • does it bother you if someone else enjoyed it ?

  • compaired to their Other stuff maybe

  • If there's no DVD of this concert out by Christmas of this year, I will be bitterly disappointed.

  • I WANT TO SEE THEM IN CONCERT SO BAD! I was born too late. :(

  • they might tour again but plant doesnt want to so it would b with a different singer so it wouldnt be the same

  • Oh, I have a feeling there are a couple singers lurking, training, or already selected ;)

  • If you like this

check out my videos for some amazing blues jams and blues solos

and ill return the favor !

  • I love this! Robert sounds awesome!, it's obvious that aging has hurt his vocal chords a little bit, but considering that damage he sounds great, I love it, thanx for posting (: ♫

  • Why are people always making comments about Plant's voice? Do you know of ANY singer that sounds exactly the same or has the same vocal range as they did 40 years ago?? Me either. Tina Turner, Rod Stewart, Paul Rodgers to name a few, have all lost some of the edge to their vocal power from when they were younger, and Plant is no different. Why do people expect him to sound the same as in the 70's?? I don't get it!! He's still as expressive as he ever was and probably even more so now.

  • I said he sounds great and when I say great I mean INCREDIBLE, I mean, you can't deny his voice isn't the same but yet, it's still awesome..some people wish they could sing like Plant does now..

  • thanks for sharing this. Excellent video quality. Do you have the whole concert?

  • agree on the JPJ comment. saw him on tour some years ago

and he looked great. he was such a nice guy as well and

    so humble.

  • John Paul i believe is the one who least suffered with aging. He looks amazing. Not that the other guys are zombies or anything, but they do look really old. Imagine how Bonham would look nowadays

  • Bonham probably looks about like Keith Richards by now.

  • 0:41 did he just give the finger?

  • Ahmm.... no.

  • You must be kidding.

  • sacs1800... that would be hella gay

  • Rob sounded fantastic actually! Don't you know that recordings like this never transfer the true sound?

  • yeah twenty years ago

you try giving up a band for that long then coming back to a gig as big as this.

hes and old man as well dont forget so his vooice would sound a little different

    prik.

  • jason bonham has been taught EXCELLENT! just like his father!

    R.I.P. JOHN HENRY 'BONZO' BONHAM.

  • damn dude how much did you pay for these seats?

  • Believe you me sonny, nobody needed whatsits or Tequila...!

  • why didnt i get to go to this dammit!!!!!!!!!

  • What a lame crowd!!! They were so fortunate to watch Led Zeppelin and they look like if they were watching my grandma playing the piano!!!! I cant understand these people, for God´s sake its Led Zeppelin!! If Led Zep would come to Mexico or any place in Latin America, the crowd would be completely nuts enjoying something of this nature.

  • dude you gotta point. The US would go nutss too

  • how dare they insult the greatest band in the universe!

  • A lot of the people that were there weren't even Zeppelin fans. They just wanted to go to something monumental. Pisses me off...

  • yeah same here, i was about to fly to london (live in sweden) just to stand outside and hope you would hear something, zeppelins my religion and favourite drug :P

  • Yeah I agree - I feel the same way. The way they issued tickets was far from ideal. They should have had a quiz or made people recite their lyrics or summat so you had to prove that you were a true fan.

  • LOL that is definatly how they should have done it I'll bet 25% of the people in there were some spoiled kids whose parents just bought em a ticket because they can, ur right u should be required to sing 4 of their songs from memory then u have the RIGHT to buy a ticket

  • LOL - the crowd does look a bit lame - and I was one of them!!! I was near the front on the other side and we were going nuts a lot of the time but for some of the time I was just mesmerised.....It was an absolutely amazing night and although it doesn't look like it the atmosphere in the crowd was fantastic.

  • whats the name of this song?

  • its says on the title of the vid, rock and roll

  • there was no band on the planet that could even come close to a zeppelin live show in the early 70's

  • You're absolutely right! To verify this, please check my video response to this vid.

  • i wood if u fuckin had one

  • wow man, how great to be there

  • The Who and Pink Floyd are ok, but they can't match Zeppelin. No one can. Led Zeppelin is the king of rock and roll.

  • The Who blowes zeppelin live in concert i saw them both in 1976.I fell asleep during rain song. The Who over 2 hrs nobody sat total mayem it was so loud my ears rang for 2 days.

  • I agree 100%. I saw The Who in Nov '73 and it is the greatest show I've ever seen aside from a dozen or so Springsteen shows. Saw Zep in Feb '75, the biggest disappointment ever. Plant just couldn't sing anymore. No melodies, no vocal inflection at all, his voice was a flat monotone

  • oh for sure when i went to zeppelin in 76

i thought the roof would come down.Big

    disappointment there not good live,

    boring.Saw the Who i think 3months

later i was blown away much more energy

over 2 hrs on my feet.Moon running from his drum kit picking up joints people were

throwing on the stage.I really thought my ears were going to fall off thats how loud they were. Zepp does not come close live

to the Who to this day.

  • When I saw them in '73 it was the Quadraphenia tour. Pete would introduce each of the new songs with a little explaination of what the song was about. After they got that out of the way, they started doing the older stuff. I'll never forget WGFA. It absolutely kicked ass. They played Substitute and Magic Bus also. I was stoned out of my mind. The opening band was a new band from the South called Lynyrd Skynyrd. Heard Freebird for the first time that night.

  • Same here i was stoned. They were passing joints around the Boston Garden

that night non stop. The Who played alot of stuff from who's next that night and a little from everything else. When they play baba o'riley(last song)the place went insane i mean borderline riots you know how it was back then.Only The Who could cause that type of mayem.Like i said i fell asleep during zeppelin's Rain Song a boring 20 minutes in that 76 tour. That was the song remains the same tour big

    disappointment.

  • You must mean 77 since Zeppelin didn't tour in 76.

  • maybe it was 1977 it was a long time ago.

Like i said the Who are the kings live to this day.Zeppelin was good but back then with Moon the who was much better live.

I will argue that point untill i'm blue in the face.

  • The Who havn't been the same since Moon died, same with Zep after Bonham died. I've seen them both every tour after their drummers died. Post Bonham and post Moon Zeppelin was much better live on the two tours they did in the 90's with Michael Lee (RIP) on drums than any post Moon shows by The Who. Both were great bands and opinions are just that when two bands are great, nothing more.

  • Okay i will agree with that.I guess i'm just a bigger Who fan.Zeppelin is still my top

3 favorite bands of all time. The other pink

    floyd.

  • Right on. I would never argue with someone who thinks The Stones The Who, Zeppelin, Beatles, AC/DC, Pink Floyd, Elvis etc. are the best. I just took my 7 year old son to see AC/DC and he shook hands with Brian Johnson during the second song which is on my channel. Lucky little shit. I've seen them many times and not been that fortunate LOL!

  • The last time that Zeppelin played the Rain Song live in America was March 27th, 1975.

  • Zep didnt tour in 76' they toured in 77' though!

  • Second row- WOW!!! When did you arrive at the spot? How long did you have to wait?!

  • The led zeppelin was "blown away" in 1980 by the death of john henry bonham...nothing else

  • And the crowd went mild!!!

    WTF

  • 100% agree!!

Though I guess they're just dazed and confused by the rock gods in front of them :)

  • And they're too busy holding cameras in front of their faces...

  • it happens to all singers. as they age their voice loses range. listen to mick jagger and he cant hold a note. i love led zeppelin and its good to see them playing together again

  • For anyone to think that Robert Plant should sound the same as he did almost 40 years ago is just ridiculous!!!

  • Wow amazing!!! I wish this video was longer!

  • All hail the Wizard ZoSo!!!

  • in my opinion Jimmy Page is more talented than Eric Clapton.

  • Its only opinion... I think jimi hendrix is the best then peter green, page then clapton! tho i love clapton i think i like page beter.

  • come on!! you can't compare green day to zeppelin!! i will take that personally...

  • Page, Hendrix and Clapton are all the best and are all talented, but they're all commercialized, they are all known, everybody says which one is talent, because of their taste, but no one's is more talented, how can anyone say such a thing saying "this person is 'more' talented" ... it's disgusting... No matter what even by playing guitar it's still by taste, it's still from what you prefer, with the majority too...

  • |: he is talented, but seriously you're just fucking with me for saying 'more' from what I said...

  • sorry that page clapton comment is outrageous... you cock...

  • Ok, but nowaday's there are way more effects pedals and sorts, so many (heavy metal and nu-metal mainly) sound like there crazy guitarists but are nothing much...Page, Hendrix, Clapton...all skill!

  • Each has all the skills and capabilities of the other. There is nothing one could play and the other could not. Page ran his band better and for much longer, and therefore gained greater chart presence and ticket sales over some years.

Clapton seems to prefer more rounded, melodic electric solos, but Page explores more modes and scales. Clapton has an excellent voice, Page does not.

But Page is hands down unbeatable as a folk acoustic guitarist. This is his true shining skill.

  • only want to say: JIMMY PAGE RULES!!!!!!!!!

  • excuse me does anyone know where i can get a zeppelin shot up my ass?

or maybe even a yellow submarine?

OH No i prefer something much harder like a zeppelin Hard and heavy as led.

But really i am a beatles pussy i love the fucking beatles i just have a zeppelin name

  • I wished i could have seen their reunion tour!!

  • Satanism & the Occult is to often misunderstood & they are def. not the same

  • PLANT QUIT BEING A DICK AND SING WITH EM

  • Yes, that's what a TYPE of satanists believe, for example "The Church Of Satan" started by Anton LaVey.

There are other groups however, transcendental and so on. These satanists don't necessarily believe in "Do What Thou Wilt Shall Be The Whole Of The Law".

No one group OWNS the name "satanism", sorry.

AND IT DOESNT MATTER, JIMMY PAGE WAS A PAGAN!

  • they still got it!!

  • who cares about what jimmy believes in. he's a fucking incredible guitarist, thats all that matters

  • yeah, but I'm just saying if you do research it's too obvious he was a satanist, he hated christianity as a child....

  • lol, Stairway backwards: Here's to my sweet Satan/666/In a toolshed he made us suffer/Sad Satan.

They wrote more songs about Hobbits than the devil.

  • lol, they didn't even knew how to backmask, no one in the studio knew, so how to to do something that hard at first... hmmm... I don't think so, and I mean outta all their songs, Stairway To Heaven was the only one considered that it was backmasked, the only one... Why can't do others, why this song? also Jimmy (for sure) was a satanist and satanist if you watched the vid V don't believe in satan...

  • Jimmy Page WAS a paganist who rejected Christianity. That just makes him MORE cool, sorry!

There are pagan references in some songs - The May queen in Stairway, Valhalla in Immigrant Song, etc. THAT JUST MAKES THEM BETTER!! AHA!

  • do you know what satanists even believe in?

  • LinkBulletBill, I do not know for certain if your reply was directed at me, but if so, then it doesn't matter. I didn't say he was a satanist. I just said he was pagan.

Jimmy Page just believed in paganism and Aleister Crowley's "Golden Dawn" ethos, never real satanism.

...and if you are going to ask me what satanists believe in, you will have to be more specific. LaVeyian "Church Of Satan" Satanists? Neo-Geryonists? Revival Witchcraft and Neo-pagan ideas? "The Horned One"? So many!

  • As Jimmy Page said the system of Alietser Crowley was in his everyday life. And satanists don't believe in satan. You're judging the religion by it's name. Same as judging a book by it's cover. Actually satanism isn't a bad thing. Jimmy Page believed in "Do What Thou Wilt" and when you believe in that then you are a satanist. You don't change your religion to satanism, it's kinda something that when you were born you've already believed it, but I'm no satanist though.

  • do what you will = satanism ???

  • basically that's what satanism is... and why are you so much "WTF"? Satanism don't believe in satan...

  • i didn't say they believed in satan... but to summarize an ideology-religion-philosophy-or whatever by saying it's "do what you will" seems kind of childish... or maybe satanism is childish...

  • you don't understand...

  • Look in their Book, it is written "Do What Thou Wilt, but may not harm anyone's desires as the same for you." The funny thing is Jesus said almost kinda the same thing. Jesus and Satanism is given the same message, except Satanists don't believe in Jesus and Satanists believe in the method "An eye for an eye, a son for a son." Hope you know what that means, like when someone punches you, you punch them back. Same thing for kindness, they're nice at you, you're nice back. I'm not a satanist tho.

  • impresive

  • THE BEST BAND OF THE HISTORY(for me better than the beatles).

  • Yep they were bigger than the beatles when they started

  • The beatles, the best musical geniuses in the world, paul mcartny is the best ever, zeppelin is awesome don't get me wrong!! their totaly different in music standpoint. jimmy page touched be god..on the seventh day god created jimmy page..peace

  • lol Jimmy Page doesn't believe in god...

  • lol jimmy didn't make any statement about his faith he actually never did or said like roger waters or david gilmour tina turner or even Ritchie blackmore did

anyway it doesn't matter whether he is a spiritual atheist or even Buddhist

    he owns

  • He said that the system of Aleister Crowley is in his everyday life, meaning that Aleister Crowley's system is Do What Thou Wilt, do what you want and have fun. He's a satanist, and don't judge the book by its cover, because satanists don't believe in afterlife, meaning they don't believe in Satan, God, angels, devils. Basically the religion is saying to be yourself, don't let anybody stop your fun, and don't do harm to other people. Live your life, before it all ends. I'm no satanist, though.

  • yeah i wasn't sure bout that but i had a background bout it..everybody must live their lives before it ends..whether u r a satanist or not..however..he thinks that he is a guitar god..cheers.thank u

  • Satanists believe that everybody is selfish and should think of themselves of a God, that they are important in the world and should do something to be known before they die. They believe that when you were born, you have something to do, you have to search for it and have fun, if you don't you'll just live and die, like most people on this earth. Every religion has a point, but all religions has it's flaw. Like everybody can't search for anything, because they were born poor and can do nothing.

  • yeah right sometimes u search but u don't get it even.its all bout luck..you seem that u have a big background about beliefs..ur discussion is quite enjoyable despite it is a lil out off topic..thanks

  • What do you mean off topic? lol

BTW if you want to know more about Satanism, just check this vid out:

    URL:

    /watch?v=GFAfRUKuz8c&feature=r elated

    Title:

The Church of Satan-The truth about Satanism

this will help understand a bit more...

  • aha even satan has a church hhhhhhhhhhhh

  • and the funny part is that the people in the church don't believe in him, if you would have watched the video...

  • haha what a dumbass..

  • me? It's so fucking obvious if you would do research that he was satanist, but still satanists don't believe in satan..... Go search my vid and your opinion of satanism will change completely!

  • no, i mean the other guy..

  • then why did u replied me, lol?

  • If this concert doesn't come out on DVD soon, I gonna lose my mind!!

  • same here

  • Zeppelin/Stones/The Who/The Beatles...

    all on the same plane.

  • each of the four guys from zeppelin were all at the top of their game, you cant say that about all of the member of all of those other bands

u KNOW page was better than townsend, as well as taylor and richards (combined)

ringo could barely play drums especially compared to bonham

    mick jagger...meet robert plant

and when you consider their on stage abilities... FORGET ABOUT IT! ZEPPELIN KILLS

  • you can't say anyone is better than the beatles. They're too iconic. They're beyond stardom. They're in a whole other class of fame. They were gods. Zeppelin would've acheived thesame status had it not been for bonzo's death. The biggest force in modern rock, and that will never be changed. Great bands like Metallica and Zeppelin and Deep Purple and even Sabbath will all say the beatles started it all. The beatles were completely original, and they always will be.

  • zepplin DID acheive better success breaking while breaking the beatles records without half of the hype/media coverage. The beatles may be overrated to a point of iconism, but they didnt have the sheer talent and raw artform that zeppelin did. the beatles were handed a career by the media and their lucky timing, if you think of it from a musical standpoint for two seconds its clear that zeppelin is on another level.

  • Zeppelin based their mystique on fast guitar licks and blazing drums. There is more to music than that. As songwriters and craftsman the Beatles will never be equalled. I love Zeppelin and saw them on their Houses of the Holy tour in 1975 in Chicago. But in terms of their social impact and the music they made, Zeppelin would not be able to hold their jock strap. Same goes with the Stones.

  • yeah, who could forget the fast guitar licks and blazing drums of the rain song, ramble on, all the acoustic tracks of "III", going to california, and battle of evermore and ten years gone...

dont group the stones with zeppelin

social impact? music they made? Zeppelin is the one band with THE BIGGEST INFLUENCE ON MUSIC TODAY

Zeppelin is the one band with THE BIGGEST INFLUENCE ON MUSIC TODAY!!!

    no questions asked

Look at the structure of their epics and tell me they cant write

  • Exactly what "fast guitar licks" are you talking about? I think Communication Breakdown is the fastest song they ever recorded. And, sometimes people don't care about "social impact," they just want good music - and Zeppelin definitely delivered in that respect.

  • Dang you had some nice seats

  • bull shit maybe in record sales but that only says that only says people have shit for brains

  • Led Zeppelin is WAY better than the Beatles!

  • i love the beatles, but come on, beatles performances were boring

  • I say this as a Zeppelin fan-even if I had tickets to this I wouldn't have gone... just not the same.

  • Hmm... I think I would have ;) While it's not the same, it's still pretty damn good.

  • was j.p. at this concert?

  • I almost frecked when I saw this youtube video.....Led Zeppelin-Satan's Influence on Rock Music (part1).... I never knew

  • I heard on the radio this morning (10/29) that it's being reported (on the web) that Jimmy Page, JPJ and Jason Bonham will be doing at Led Zep reunion tour WITHOUT ROBERT PLANT, and that they (Page) are in the process of auditioning singers!! I just about wrecked my car when I heard it! Don't know if it's true or not, but I can't imagine any sort of LZ reunion without Plant singing, even if Page and JPJ are a part of it. Lord, please don't let it be true.

  • I heard this to it's just not zep without Plant.. I think He will come around and do the tour how can anyone pass up that kind of cash!!

  • the crowd look pretty still...

either they are in shock (i would be) or they suck...

  • HOW THE FUCK DID YOU GET SO CLOSE

  • there was a bloodbath backstage. again.bonzo and peter grant beat the hell out of this guy.

  • Im waiting for the reunion of hermans hermits

  • I notice he has a shirt on now.

  • son unicos
