Dr hauser ive got lax ligements on my right side of my back which connect to my scapula which has give me back pain for years, guess it never healed right. I live in the uk and heard that they do prolotherapy in birmingham, thinking of getting refered. Would it help me with my problem?

We do not know anyone specific in the UK who does Hackett-Hemwall Prolotherapy, which is the more comprehensive method we use and find that it responds very well. However, you may want to Google it. The injections are done to specific locations, and it's not easy to just start doing it, if you are the doctor. There are many doctors who are trained in it every year through the world, but the techniques vary, as does the level of expertise. We feel that Hackett-Hemwall dextrose Prolotherapy has the longest and best safety record and clinical results.
thanks, but there is nothing of the kind that I was seeking. Dr. hauser states that he has seen before/after prolo regeneration in ultrasound. There is not a single example of that on his website, which seems more directed at self-promotion/marketing of diet and prolotherapy.Doesn't mean it doesn't work, but why have a post on research and not show any research? Of course double blind may be difficult to do, but in this case, he claims to be able to see growth and healing in ultrasound images.
@kbkesq I'm sorry you're not finding what you are looking for. Dr. Hauser has seen ultrasound images that show growth, but they were submitted by a group doing more research on this. We would suggest contacting Scott Benjamin, PT who, along with another PT and a DO, have published articles in the Journal of Prolotherapy. Scott Benjamin is located in Lasing, MI... exclusivept (. com)
It is also impossible to do a double blind study unless you have have 2 identical injuries in 2 virtually identical people .. prolotherapy is proved to work by ultrasound and mechanical tests on the joints treated .. worked on me perfectly !!

Dr. Hauser- can you provide any citations covering the ultrasound before and after proof you refer to?
Do you have slides from your own clinical practice that you can show before and after (obviously with HIPAA data removed)?
