What if I want to repeat the same combi during a live performance? Do I have to write the combi in several free spaces and waste slots with the same sound? ( I want to use the pedal to change programs)

Hi I bought the korg M-50 61 key and I have a simple problem which I cannot resolve. Actually the buttons are with touch sesitivity which means when I press the keys the sound depends on the touch of finger's fource like a grande piano. Anyone can help me how can I remove the touch sensitivity please?

Question: I love my new Korg M50, and these videos are very helpful, however, anytime I try to save into the Combi D it will always go to the piano (A0001) sound, no matter what program I'm trying to save. It didn't do this at first, but now it is. Any helpful ideas?

How can I copy a sound from the Combi mode Bank A over to my list on Bank D. It doesn't seem to work the same way. Oh, and thanks for these videos. I just got my M50 and am loving it. Up till now my favorite board was the Yamaha EX 7, but this is now my new prize and joy!

@saarnoldbhm Glad you're digging your M-50. Try going to GLOBAL mode, then touch the System Preferences tab, and make sure that in the Memory Protect section, "Combination" is unchecked. If not, uncheck it, and save the settings using the REC/WRITE button.

@saarnoldbhm Instead of using the "Copy From Program" command, use the drop-down menu and select "Write Combination." Then, you can specify a new location to save the sound.

I tried writting the combination and specifyin a new location for the sound but what i if i just want to copy it and not completely move it from its original place? Do you know of any other way where i can just make a set list of songs with different sounds in them so i can play easily?

I want the piano in "Bank A" organ in "Bank B" pads in "Bank C "... How Do I that? Whereas all the combinations that I create are saved only in the "Bank D" (user 16)

Thank you so much for making theese videos, they are great. I have one question though: How do you setup more sounds to swich between within the same track during live performance? E.g. when I in some songs use Piano for the Verse, Violins for the Bridge and Brass for the Chorus? How do I setup this to access the different sounds quick and easy within the same track?

So is there anyway to save individual programs without overwriting the ones that come with the M50? I saved an edited program to user bank 16, but it overwrote something in Bank C.

I have THE M50 BY KORG and In the sequencer after i recorded some 4 bar loops on the time code when I hit play it only goes to 64 and then stops on its own.

@Cyberman86 Generally, on piano sounds, switch #1 will drop you down one octave. You can also go to the Tone Adjust tab, touch "Trsp" on/off button, and adjust the value below.

@nahrat That's kinda easy if you know how. Firt you put the sound in your combi right? Then you go to page select and the go to Zone I tink, there wold be some parameters in wich you can change the zone where each sound is acting (you can split'em and also make layers) I recommend you to look for the combi part in the manual, That information is in one of the first pages of it...

That was great. One question, once I get my instrument into a "Song", how do I get multiple instruments in the same song? When I select a second one I can only hear the first. When I mute the first I get no sound, it seems to not care about the second.

if you want two tracks (in a sequence) or two timbres (in a combi) to sound together in a layered or split manner, they have to be set to the same MIDI channel. Look at the Track/Timbre Parameter page.

You need an SD card.

1.Save the Vintage Keys file onto the SD Card.

2. Put it in the M50.

3. Load it under MEDIA.

Great job...we need it. Is there a way to create a sequnce ( in the 80's it was called a sequncer) of single notes played throught the song while you play a different stock sound ( lets say strings) on the fly with sequencer? If so can you post a video?

There is a fourth way also... the Combi-next-to-another-method :) Just save your combis like you would play them in a song one after another and use switch pedal to program up (or combi up) through all the combis... this means that you'll have to save many same combis many times and do lot of preprogramming.
