hi, I'm 33 with Classic Galactosemia, great vid, keep spreading the word!

now on to other things. i was not diagnosed till 10 months. had my first cataract surgery at 10 yrs. so far ive had 4 on each eye. i was told the doctor said another month without being diagnosed i woulda croaked. if any one is interested in comparing symptoms lemme know. there may be some things were not sure about being linked to this.

some of you are very very ignorant on this desease. a person with galactosemia can not eat foods other than only dairy. there are even fruits that we're not suppose to eatl if your interested i can come back with the exact details but if no one responds i wont waste my time looking up the names of the chemicals , but for sure its not just dairy.

why is E-Coli or bacterial infection caused from galactosemia?

this is a good presentation. I have Galactosemia and I just wanted to correct a few things, the first thing is that its a disorder not a disease. Second when you listed the foods one cannot eat you listed soy sauce and soy sauce is not dairy.

@SAYISRAEL There are some who state that it is fermented soy sauce the one a person with galactosemia cannot have. Will look for the reference and send you another message later on today or tomorrow.
