Great post! Sure is a clean, healthy rig and I like their new signs (not just thinking green, being green lol). Haven't seen one of those dumpsters (as in very beginning of vid) with the half-lid thing in front in a LONG time, how common are those? I do remember seeing a lot like the kind at 2:27 in BC though, especially owned by WM.
Great compilation though, I like how you did that with the driver describing all the cameras on the truck haha
@Trashman242 thanks Scott ! yea the new logos are kool espcially since all cng trucks have them now for WM yea the crew out here is super friendly ! since all haulers by dumpsters from local fabricators thats the design they had back then and the cans have lasted for a long time for all the companies, thats why there isnt many rubber lids as these are older.
Awesome job, nothing wrong with seeing this new green machine in action =] Same truck as the one in the other video? Like at the start how he rolls straight into the front lid to slam it shut - also what's the purpose of them? Engine sounds mad on this truck, especially good in the front on shot in the fourth clip. Nice of him to show you the inside too, hopper camera's neat as. The container at 1:56 stood out heaps, a lot like our ones over here... even having wheels on it is strange! :)
@MitchellM15 thanks buddy ! yea I dont mind this beast, There actually 2 diff trucks in this video, ones doing recycling and ones doing garbage. I think most of these cans are older and that was there design lol. Yea the inside is pretty neat bro nice and spaced out.
looks as though the CNG movement is seriously growing. I was told by a City Of Atlanta supervisor on yesterday that they will be getting a fleet of Mack CNGs early next year. I'm guessing all LEUs and that they are trying to phase out their CCC LETs which unfortunately have been having issues since they got them.
@ThaThunderStorm Yup , Finaly hit my area ! alot of companies wanna run CNG , I prefer regular disel but these trucks are not that bad ! dam thats sad to see those Old ATL trucks go ! there quite rare but i think it was time for new trucks lol !
Beautiful truck, I got to see one just like it today. It was the first CNG FL in the fleet for the WM branch near me, they have a ton of new Pete RL CNG trucks running around. An added bonus to the FL was a Curotto Can Commercial Gripper attached to it.
