@tienshenhan86 I went with a smaller turbo recently because of lag issues, I am now with a GT42R instead of a GT45R, and it dyno'd at 791whp on my 32 PSI tune.
Can You help me buy my first supra please?! I am BeN12. and You sound awesome! So I am going to college to be a video game designer, is that where the money is at>? I AM DYING FOR A SUPRA
I know better than to argue with the person that owns the car but the reason I ask is that I have a 1993 MKIV TT and I have the exact same dash cluster down to the MPH KPH speedo except mine is Right Hand Drive
I was under the impression that S2 1996 and above had the 3 little circle gauges for fuel, temp and boost
@d4nr055 naw the only difference in interior is the radio's changed, the steering wheel changed, and the 1993-1995 had a 2 slot pillar pod, and the 1996-1998 had a 3 pillar pod.
@d4nr055 and the 3 gauges you are questioning is the pillar pod gauges and that isn't on the dash, its attacked to the area between where the windshield meets the door frame, google some pics and you'll see what I mean.
people are such ass holes you said quite clearly why you couldnt start it it need a fuel system upgrade which when your running a turbo that size is a given , really nice car sounds mean, suprised you stuck with the stock inlet manifold though.
@klasse2bub I only ran it for like 2 weeks, it sits in my garage now in case my GT45R ever goes on me again, but it held up really well. I didn't push it too much but I did run it at 20 PSI without any problems, I mean my normal GT45R setup runs at 34 PSI but I didn't want to take a chance of something happening cause it was not tuned for that Turbo. But I have hear good thing's about them for the money, but overall a Garrett will be a better buy, pricey but more durable.
@Maurodbest hehe I am actually working on a video of my 97 Supra, I tend to not drive this one like a maniac because it is still on stock internals. My 97 was built by Titan Motorsport's and is a 3.4L Stroker, am working on a bunch of race video's with me and my friend's that we do all the time on a local freeway. It's in the making and should be finished shortly.
@yomaribling Whatcha mean from the dash? The 93-95 dash's are the same, and the 96-98 are the same. Even the difference between the 93-95 and the 96-98 is barely noticeable. Only thing the video that isn't stock is the CD / DVD Player. Thats it, my 97 Supra has the same exact dash as me 98.
@yomaribling ahhhhh yah ok that explains it. the JDM spec (Japanese) is different than the US version. Besides the right hand drive, the dash does look different =)
Hey. I'm looking to buy a supra but i live in canada and its hard to find them here. Can you give me any websites or dealerships that would have this in the states? thanks.
@motorfreak12 yes they are pretty fast as well. While they haven't been proven to do as good as the MKIV's on the drag strip, they still hold their own. MKIV's just seem to be a little bit more well balanced over all, but still a good choice that will slaughter most street car's with the correct modifications
nice bro, I have a 98 single turbo supra with 45,488 miles on it, it's one of the original quicksilver colored supra's, I got mile 4 years ago for 40 grand and put about 2500 miles on it
@wwwdeelocke your best bet is go to car show's that advertise for Supra's. There is a yearly Supra ONLY Car Show in Las Vegas, your best bet is probably there. Lot's of people sell them there, never trust ebaymotors because people scam on there a lot.
@freeride205 My 98' (the one in this video) is actually all in pieces right now also, I recently blew out the GT45R turbo and had to get another one, but first the sleeve's have to be checked to make sure no metal shavings got into the engine or nothin like that so. And I the 3rd-4th gear syncro is going on me so I'm dropping the tran and fixing that as well. So it'll be down a little bit.
@ccmixx yah man, my black supra is a monster. Its currently in Texas though, I have Titan Motorsport's doing some more work on it. It'll be back soon hopefully.
Screw the haters, any updates? hp?
