You have great movement! its not your movement that is poor. All you need is accuracy and proficiency with the katana its self and make sure you treat every part of the sword with respect including the case its self, its traditional and customary. the blade should be treated as a best companion through your all of your life. it is a great work out though. You should try the straigh sword, the Japanese use them as well believe it or not. ") Buddha bless you and your family. Ja-ne.
You are always suppose to hold the sword with both hands as well not just one that's how you get your hand cut off.
