  • May I post a video response of my 1st conversion?

It's a Hive Tyrant torso with a Centipede neck :3

  • can you make a tutorial on how to attach the wings

  • Can I just say that these are the most awesome Nids I have ever seen?

  • Where did u get the wings and what model are they off of? And how did u do the magnet on ur model I love that idea. Cuz I'm just paint them and put them up I don't play the game.

  • can you make a tutorial on how to paint that color scheem?

  • @mw2fan465 i have one u will find on my channel

  • wow nice colour scheme :)

  • i love that scheme it is amazing

  • @Daniellovsmetal thanx dan!

  • What paint scheme did you use for the Tyranids in the video?

  • @sleezyveazie a custom one, i have a painting tutorial of my scheme if you would like to chek it out

  • turned out really well!

  • Okay, how did you prevent floppy limbs? I have all but given up on my plans for bearing-magnet joints because of it. I'm using N50 3mm x 1 mm disc magnets, for reference.

  • @romorini in each wing there are 4 manets with oposite polarity magnet in the hive tyrants body! looooots of work geting them lined up. But i used the same sizes as you

  • cooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooollllllll

    wwwwoooooooooooooooooooooooowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww beutiful paintet

  • cooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooollllllll

    wwwwoooooooooooooooooooooooowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww

  • they aqre awsome these are the best models i have ever seen its a crime just to call them warriors u should also use the beefiest 2 - 3 as tyrant guard

  • Hey man just got my Wings for my Tyrant But is unsure of what Paint scheme you used to get the jelly look on your tyrant wings?

  • @fizhermanz never fear, i have a painting tutorial! it will show you step by step how to paint your bugs, like mine. that webbing on the bac is a little more complicated, in fact i wouldn't do it again lol

  • you make me wana drop my orks and play nids...

  • @nightmareaol you should post a video of them and let me see the orcs! Have been wanting to paint some myself lol

  • Looking Cool

  • omfg thats a sexy ass army

  • Those are just AWESOME. I wish I had your skills ;(. Go on like That! Your Tyranids Are the Coolest I've Ever seen!

    Greez

  • you should do a stop motion video with them

  • @kronweed lol nono

  • I don't collect Tyranids but wow, these are just incredible. You sir are a genius and a model master.

  • @kingjonnyboy117 thanks man, i love this hobby!!

  • @DonJelopy.

    wow.

    i wanna see your armee.

    all your figures!

    its so amazing!

  • Did anyone tell you that you are a God Of Modeling, Seriously your skills in conversion, painting and ingenuity with the ideas you come up with are paramount to anything I've seen. Please keep up the good work. Thankyou

  • @DonJelopy thanx man, best compliment I have ever recieved.

  • tyrinids have a lot of power, some of the most powerful models in the warhammer world.

  • @naptu1 yes they do, I have played several tournaments with them. I don't lose often lol

  • i dint think a purple themed nid army would look good...u proved me wrong btw nice job on the magnets

  • good job. I can see the dedication you must have. How long did it take? To much effort for my Eldar though lol

  • @wingclaws in total with conversion and painting, the hive tyrant took about 22 hours. It was a labor of love for sure. Sold that model for 150.00 dollars though YAY!!! haha

  • @steveprimebot I admire your dedication so much - but - surely £6.81 dollars perhour is not that good, when considering the cost of the model, magnet, green stuff, ball bearing, paint, glue etc etc. Unless of course you weren't trying to make money? Great job though. Much Kudos.

  • Great videos! Did you have any problems with the ballbearings when attaching them to the arms? Also do the arms stay in position? Keep it up, Cheers! :)

  • nope the ball bearings stick good to the arms and dont move unless i move them. only problem is that the paint wears off over time. but it is easily repainted

  • mmmmmm... I never thought about ball bearings for my magnet nids, did you use 1/4 or 1/8 inch magnets?

  • mostly 1/8" but on the monsterous creatures i used 1/4"

  • Really impressive! I would love to have Nids of that quality.

I am about to use magnets for the first time on my first metal mini the Hive Tyrant.

Any suggestions on what to use?

A more in depth video on the products used would be fantastic.

  • I buy my magnets from k&j magnetics online about 25.00 for 100! i buy the ball bearings from ace hardware which are even cheaper about .15 cents.

  • i really want to see more of those warrior conversions. they look really like the classic tyrant guards. how did u make them and with what.

  • its actually not very difficult, i just carve down the warrior heads with and exacto knife and smoothe them with a file. the fists are just stock biovore (series 2) arms

  • cool. ill get 3 warrions and customise them to look like tyrant guards. did u make them into tyrant guards.

  • no, just stock warriors

  • wow those gaunt heds are really effective!

  • gaunt heads are really too small, i used the warrior heads but just carved their head carapace down.

  • awesome job! 5 stars! you used hormagaunts heads on these warriors? very unique gj

  • actually i didn't i cut off the back ends of warrior heads with an exacto knife and smoothed them out with files. thank you though. :D

  • Very nice conversion with the magnets....but why did you use 4 magnets in each socket? Do u need that for the ball bearing to work?

  • ya, they still stick but are only posable with 4 magnets otherwise, they just droop down all the time.
