Wow, same exact party as me. My party was around 15-17. Just keep attacking (along with healing when needed) and you eventually get it, especially if you have the Shiva summon to get around 300 damage right away. Easy boss in my opinion.

Errrr. i just want to clear something up. if you 'owned' J-E-N-O-V-A because you was at lv 25 (or what ever) that doesnt make you a great player. the ones who are are those who take on these bosses at the lower levels. yeah the battles go on for longer. but they mean so much more! try it. you'll feel more satisfaction beating them when your characters are weak.
yeah kotr is good for that fight but if you use it on jenova synthesis or bizarro sephiroth then he gets 80,000 more hp for each use talk about a sad effort to make the final boss harder.
yeah i understand but when your at safer Sephiroth you should have KOTR by then which makes me no challange at all but if you dont have it go in battle when cloud on a full limit will be almost as good.
@Andrewthevideogamer no offense but bull shit...level 60 is probably like just guessing but 300,000 xp or so. and u only get like 150 xp a fight at this point in the game lol.

ok lets go back to the mattter at hand and leave the entire vincent being sexy thing out of it, i believe Aries could be the 2nd best character but the fact she died (sadly) mean she is not there for the more ''crucial'' parts of the game (i.e Safer sephiroth) where i think we can both agree a nice full heal limit break would be nice, therefore she imo is not the best because of her lack in the latter of times in the game where shes needed, understand?

I remember my first time fighting Jenova. Ended up being level 23 on all characters because I spent 4 hours trying to get Yuffie.
