Sometimes after thinking twice, especially if the shark is hungry enough, they'll attack even while you're moving to defend yourself and expressed to them that you're aware of their presence. Most shark attacks though, succeed by sneak attack on the unwitting. So, pay careful attention when you're in ocean water.
